I think a great audio engineer should be able to recognize a letter just by its waveform. This is commonly used in audio forensics in instances where there is mild distortion. Analysts can clean up the noise around the waveform and isolate a single spoken letter, or a string of waveforms to decipher what’s being said.

I highly recommend an ultra wide curved screen anywhere from 34” to 49”. I currently set up a 49” and use my 32” curved Samsung and 27” Dell as auxiliary monitors. It really takes away the clutter and ads valuable DAW real estate.
