This workout was so tough. Not because it was actually hard & I was getting after it, but because I definitely did not eat enough beforehand and was so tired 🥲🙏

Deadlift top set (made me sad it felt so much heavier than normal lol) then back downs (in real speed 😈, jk this is sped up)

SSB squat (first time trying this). Twas interesting

Rear elevated split squat (dislike these but been trying to do more slow/control with muscle connection vs ultra heavy repper)

Hamstring curl (only had the lying so did the lying)

Adductors (this machines ROM is nooooo bueno so couldn’t do abductor on here)

Even tho I wasn’t thrilled with the workout, how I felt during it, what I put in nor what I got out, I still went in!! So that’s a W 💪

Sometimes I look at myself and think “dang. You have not changed very much [gym wise].” And then I remember.. “dude you gained like 20lbs and added 50-100+lbs for every compound (SBD)… you changed a bit.”

Even with all that, I PERSONALLY (my personal opinion) don’t think I’ve made the most radical change over the years.

Reason being, I was still working out hard as heck in the gym during each of these pics (minus the second & seventh slide when I would only run (lockdown)). So I was always pretty “fit.”

And I developed an ED basically the millisecond I hit puberty (lol 🥲💔) so I never really allowed my body to change all THAT much. I still wonder what I would’ve looked like if I didn’t do that to myself during such a fundamental life stage (if you’re reading this & struggling rn, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GET HELP).

The biggest difference I’ve personally felt was 2020 (lockdown), I was around the smallest I’ve ever been. Ironically that was the first time I was not actively trying to shrink myself. The rest of the times I was working HARD in the gym (especially before these tbh). Just… lacking in the diet department.

Now I’m working out “smarter” and eating better/ more! 🙌

All that to say, you’re changing. I’m changing. We’re all changing! Even small steps are steps.
DOCUMENT YOURSELF IN THE GOOD TIMES AND THE BAD TIMES (if anything so you have something to look back on).

Hamstring curl 3x15
Leg extension 3x12
BIKE RIDE! One of my favorite leisure activities. Wish I did it more but it’s kind of rare for me atm.

Was not doing the same program for literally any significant period of time between any of these so it’s more or less just a general physique change thru the years 🌱
