There is a re-emerging idea that closeness and understanding of God can be found through a close relationship with nature. That natural laws are in fact God’s laws. This seems like a no-brainer on the one hand, but given our divisive climate…is it?

Here an article about a 17th century clergyman who was also a prominent scientist (gasp!)

Let’s all take a deep breath and open ourselves to this possibility😅

“As Newton had written in 1704, "Our duty towards [God], as well as that towards one another, will appear to us by the light of Nature." It was this Newtonian Christianity Michell followed. As McCormmach puts it, "the truths of his religion were in agreement with the truths of nature". So, alongside his parish duties, Michell gradually focussed his attention on cosmology and in particular the nature of gravity. This was the domain in which he would produce work that was both revolutionary and prophetic, even long after his own death.”

Almost 200 years before scientists accepted black holes exist, a British clergyman called John Michell published some surprisingly prescient ideas about these strange cosmic objects.

During my last fast, I fasted for 7 days and let me tell you, I got quite the lesson in electrolytes!

Also, during this fast, my spiritual guidance was from the Dead Sea Scrolls and the teachings of the Essenes, which include a lot of awareness of water, sunlight, and air.

And now here we are (thanks to the all- knowing algorithm) with Zach Bush MD, who is probably the living personification of the age we are living in. This age is where science and spirituality are finally coming together.
