Our Story

Hello, my name is Mike Ferrante and I am the proud Founder of Long Islands newest publishing company, Like Us Publishing. I have created this company as an outlet for those who feel they are not heard and are treated differently for being who they are. We are here to listen and give a voice to the minorities that society really pays no attention too. Being LGBT I am part of a world that is misunderstood but there are so many Like Me that feel the same. But we are open to all spectrum's; LGBT, Black, Spanish, Suicidal, Depressed, Homeless, Abused, Mental Disability, anyone who is misunderstood for having or looking or feeling something that most people don't feel or don't try to understand because to them it's "not normal." I know it is hard sometimes to be able to open up in front of someone and tell them how you feel. So those who can't speak, write. And it's about time people Like Us are heard!
