After a long hiatus, we’re back and better than ever!!
Over the next few weeks, you’ll see some new concert band arrangements/transcriptions of some well-known classical composers such as Liszt, Puccini, Mahler, just to name a few. This will expand our concert band repertoire, which is exciting!
DTMA will also be releasing some new marching band tunes just in time for the fall! Reach out if you would like a custom arrangement of a tune and we’ll work from there. Thank you for your support and I hope you will enjoy the works over the next few weeks!!

DTMA is proud to announce that the final touches are being put on our first Concert Band work!! While we wait for the other movements to be finished (final editing marks, video editing, etc.), we would like to share with you Movement 2 from our "New World" Wind Symphony.
The "Largo" movement of this arrangement opens up with the brass playing the hauntingly beautiful chords that lead up to the beautiful oboe solo. This arrangement is shorter than the original piece, but the message and meaning is still there.
This movement can be performed on its own, or as a whole (when the "New World" Wind Symphony is finished). Like what you hear and see? Contact DTMA today to have your ensemble perform this piece!!

Be on the lookout for the release of this arrangement of Antonín Dvorák's Symphony No. 9 (the "New World" Symphony).
Titled the "New World" Wind Symphony, this piece will feature all 4 movements of the original symphony (which turns 130 this year). This unique arrangement will keep the original feeling of the symphony while not being as long. This piece of music is the biggest thing that DTMA has done so far, and it is near and dear to my heart.
When finished, you will be able to perform all 4 movements together (as intended) OR perform them on their own. What a better way to celebrate the 130th anniversary of Symphony No. 9 than to perform any of the 4 movements. Look to our page and website (work in progress) for the release of the "New World" Wind Symphony. Stay tuned!!

Currently in progress here at DTMA is an arrangement of Dvorak’s New World Symphony for Wind Ensemble!! This has been something in the works for quite some time, and I am so excited to share this with you all as soon as each movement gets finished!

After a 4-month hiatus, DTMA is back in full swing!! Starting this week, we will be rolling out pieces of music for all ensembles.
Released in 2013, "Happy" was written and produced by Pharrell Williams for Despicable Me 2, which was released later that same year. This song deals with the idea that people should keep things happy despite facing bad days sometimes. For more information on the song, click on the link below!
This fresh arrangement of "Happy" is sure to get everyone up and singing along. Your ensemble will have fun jamming out with easy rhythms, catchy melodies, and a groovy drumline part. Melissa Viviane Jefferson, more famously known as Lizzo, is an American singer, rapper, and songwriter. Lizzo has released three studio albums, two mixtapes, 2 extended plays, 23 singles, and one promotional single. "Cuz I Love You" is one of Lizzo's most popular songs, and one of her favorites. With a big band feeling and powerful lyrics, "Cuz I Love You" is a moving song that showcases her talents. This arrangement features a chance for you to showcase your mellophone, alto sax, and tenor sax sections. I originally arranged this song for the West Liberty University Marching Hilltoppers to perform as a stand tune. My rendition of this popular Lizzo song will have everyone dancing along. I hope you enjoy my rendition of "Cuz I Love You" by Lizzo.

It's Stand Tunes Saturday!! Each Saturday, I will release a video of some stand tunes I have arranged for marching bands!
Calling all monsters, phantoms, witches, and all spooky creatures!! DTMA has just released "From the Graves to the Stands: A Selection of Spooky Halloween Tunes." This selection of songs is perfect for any October football game, pep rally, or community event. This selection has something for everyone to enjoy. Featuring the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber, Vic Mizzy, Alan Menken, and John Debney, you'll definitely get scared by what's in store!
Invite everyone to listen to a snippet of "The Phantom of the Opera" wherever you perform it. The crowd will definitely want to snap along like Thing when they hear "The Addams Family Theme." Dance along with Seymour and all the people on Skid Row when "Little Shop of Horrors" is played. Finally, fly on over to Salem, Massachusetts, to visit the Sanderson Sisters and sing along to "I Put a Spell on You."

Written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, and winner of 11 Tony awards, "Hamilton" is a broadway musical about one of America's Founding Fathers. "Hamilton" follows Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant who became George Washington's right hand man throughout the American Revolutionary War. "My Shot" is a song from Hamilton's first act. In this song, Hamilton explains his ambitions for his life as well as showcasing his way with words. Featuring the melody in the trumpet voices, as well as a groovy bass line, this song has everything for your band/ensemble!

John Williams is one of the most prolific film composers of our time. From Jaws to Star Wars to Indiana Jones, Maestro Williams has composed for over 125 movies. This collection of stand tunes features music from three different Star Wars movies, E.T. (The Extra Terrestrial), and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. The songs included are as follows (in order):
1.) "The Imperial March" from Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back

Hello everyone! Welcome to DTMA - a musical place for all. For the past few years, I have been arranging music for different types of ensembles. I created this page to share with you all finished arrangements of concert band pieces, marching band stand tunes, brass ensemble pieces, and much more. I also do custom arrangements for different occassions. Contact me on this page and let's see what we can work up together! Throughout the summer, I will start posting a few different pieces a week. Each of these pieces of music I have spent countless hours making sure every little detail is just right before sharing. DTMA is happy to announce that we now offer choral arrangements!! DTMA offers custom arrangements for any type of ensemble. For choirs, we offer anything from SATB to SSA to TTB and so much more. "It Is Well With My Soul" is composed by Philip P. Bliss, with lyrics by Horatio G. Spafford. This hymn is performed in many church settings as well as concert band settings. This unique version starts with the refrain and then dives right into the first and second verses. For the third verse in this version, I decided to use an unknown and original verse to this hymn. The breath marks are to follow the punctuation and are up to the performers as to where they are placed. "It Is Well With My Soul" is dedicated to those in my family that have gone on to a better place. I really hope you enjoy "It Is Well With My Soul" by Philip P. Bliss and Horatio G. Spafford.
