This role focuses on Sophie and her loving relationship with her husband Ben and new baby Cici or Colton. After the water runs dry and her husband loses his job at the cement plant he decides to work for the desalination district of the Federal Water Reserve of the coast of California. The husband passes away in a tragic accident and the mother is left to fend for her child and find water in the barren wastelands.
