Celebrating National Rum Day with Virago Spirits! For those unfamiliar, Virago is from Richmond, VA and they make a fantastic, high quality product. This is their Ruby Port finished 4 Port Rum, which is a blend of Rum from Jamaica, Panama, Barbados and Nicaragua aged in the Carribbean then finished for months, here in Richmond, VA, using Duoro Valley Port Cask. (No color added, no dosage)
The nose: Raisin, butterscotch, brown sugar, slight dunder.
The taste: Sweet to***co, leather, burnt sugar, vanilla and a viscous smoky, nutty lingering flavor.

Virago Rum... from right here in Richmond, VA.
Absolutely delicious. No additives. All natural colors and REAL AGING. The 151 is probably 1 of the best high proofs on the market.
