🎉 2023! What an experience! 🎉 😄 We have been busy in our first year 🎨 A reflection on our opportunities as a non profit so far ( well...since this past April!)
• (April) Waking Word was incorporated
• (August) Held our first Mini Morals Premiere
• (September) received 501(c)3 status
• (September) Held our first Craft Stick Bible Story Workshop, debuting the children's video as a children's sermon at JCC
• (October) Filmed the 4th Mini Moral video with several volunteer actresses
• (November)Hear the Word begins airing on The Light Radio (Saturday/Sunday mornings) featuring children sharing a story from the gospel
• (November) Held our first Nativity Workshop
• (December) Held a live children's acting performance of The Nativity Pageant and LOVED it ❤️
Imagine how much more we could do if this was our full time job?? If it be the Lord's will, it will happen with your support! We will continue working hard to support the faith formation of children. After all, they are our future! They will be the ones who will one day ( if not already) lead others to Jesus. Our children are precious and so is the time we are given to share Christ with them, helping them to grow to know, serve and love the Lord.
We welcome 2024 with open hearts and spirits, trusting in God the whole way. Looking forward to sharing new resources, content and super awesome creative workshops/opportunities for children. Can't wait to see what God has in store this new year 😀
