Discovery Post #10 - So, then we move into the second room, which is a little larger. Again, more boxes floor to ceiling! I see a couple more Topps sets from the 70s…and then I come across this box marked “Star Wars”. I open it up and inside are a TON of original Star Wars cards. So I drive over to the house, just 15 minutes away from me outside Richmond, Virginia. She took me into a small room, and there were a TON of card boxes, floor to ceiling. Easily 300K cards. I saw a box marked “1968 Topps”. I knew the Nolan Ryan rookie was in there. Card 177. I asked to open the box, looked through and there it was! But that wasn’t all…

So we’ve found a Nolan Ryan rookie, a Mantle PSA5, and a full 1968 set. And it’s only the first box I opened! By the way, so far we have found two more Nolan Ryan rookies(above). One was authenticated as a Milton Bradley Nolan Ryan, which we couldn’t believe.(for those who don’t know, we’ll explain what a MIlton Bradley card is in future posts.).
