Wallpaper’s debut album captures a young band with nothing to lose. From the hazy textures of ‘sunburn”, the feedback-soaked powerpop of “Waterparks”, to the vitriolic closing track “G.T.S.”, Spokes is an extraordinarily raw record, recorded over a day or two at Rosewood Recordings in Richmond, Virginia. This first pressing includes an exclusive bonus track on side two.

The cassette is available for pre-order exclusively on the Asset Two web store, link in bio. Shipping in early January.

I’m excited to be able to finally announce that is joining Asset Two! I met these guys over a year ago at a show and have been stoked on their music ever since so I’m so excited to finally be able to work with them. With that announcement, I’ve got two others! They say good things come in threes, right?

Wallpaper has a new single, “Walkin’” coming out on Sept. 8! When they sent me the rough mix of this a little while ago I listened to it about 8 times in a row, it’s just So. Damn. Catchy. 🫰🫰🫰

Around the same time as the single is dropping Wallpaper is going on tour! If you haven’t had the chance to see them live in person yet, make it out to the gig. You won’t regret it. If you have seen them, why are you hesitating? Dates below:
