On October 25, 2009, Martone started Industry R***e on BlogTalkRadio. The show was meant to be a place where the up and coming singer/songwriters, actor/actresses, entertainers, and filmmakers could use as a resource to get advice from established a

nd experienced professionals such as T’Keyah Crystal Keymah from In Livin’ Color, Miss USA Shanna Moakler, CeCe Pen*ston, the original King of Rap Kurtis Blow, Kate Linder from The Young and the Restless, Singer/Songwriter Austin Brown, American Idol contestant Kassy Levels, dance recording artist Barbara Tucker, and many more. In addition to the radio shows, Lamont Hicks would edit our shows and make vignettes adding to the popularity of Industry R***e in the Mix.

“Not only was I soliciting advice for my listeners it was for me too. I used the advice that was given during these interviews and applied it to my own career as a singer/songwriter. I can tell you that my guests knew exactly what they were speaking about because it worked for me, and it still is.” Said, Martone. From there, Martone had invited friend Chad Burleson to take part in the production with participating in interviews with celebrities. Martone considered Chad to be a pop culture guru and an excellent addition to Industry R***e. From there, the format of the show was reworked, and The Chad Report was born, and Industry R***e became Industry R***e in the Mix. The format of the two shows incorporated world-news reports, sports and entertainment news and featured number one songs from those given days in history, with The Chad Report. Industry R***e in the Mix featured artist interviews and music. For one season, Chad and Martone co-hosted each other’s show. In 2012, The Chad Report and Industry R***e in the Mix branched off on their own thus becoming two separate entities. After producing the Industry R***e in the Mix on BlogTalkRadio for nearly four years, Martone decided to breakaway from their platform and venture out with starting his own radio station called IRMIX Radio. IRMIX Radio became a hub for aspiring entertainment professionals to hear the latest in music and advice from career professionals. On March 1, 2013, IRMIX Radio officially launched on its own with the first major guest on the new network legendary choreographer and dancer Jimmy Locust. Jimmy had worked with the music industry’s elite such as Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Paula Abdul and many more. After the success with our inaugural guest Jimmy Locust, Martone decided to take it a step further and celebrate his idol’s birthday with a special two months later on the 16th of May 2013. The IRMIX Radio special trended on social media worldwide and, received recognition from Janet Jackson herself on her website thanking us for celebrating her. The special aired for 24 hours and Martone interviewed Janet’s nephew Austin Brown and fans from around the world showing Janet love with singing and telling us how much they loved her. The event caused the website to crash at various times throughout the day due to increased website traffic. With the help of Janet Fans around the world, and two very dedicated individuals Dennis Fernando Da Silva of Australia and Valerie Gamache of Shock Ra Entertainment, LLC the event was a complete success! From there, Martone went onto reach out to several friends to add more content to the content to the station that would rival any urban terrestrial radio station. IRMIX Radio’s content line up consisted of religious programming on Sunday, The Cosmo Morning Show with Dante Bowie, and programming that included talk radio shows such as One on One with Cory George, Common Sense Required with Elle and Cornelius, IRMIX Nigeria with Oladapo OJ Adewunmi, Industry R***e with Martone, Friday Night Jamz with DJ Coz. IRMIX Radio brought all the elements of traditional radio along to the station that included fan favorites like The Drive that did not have a host but it was the musical content of underground house music that brought the listeners in at 3:00 p.m. The Quiet Storm on IRMIX Radio featuring classic RnB and Neo-Soul music starting at 10:00 p.m. EST Sunday to Thursday. The Billboard Top Twenty Countdown on IRMIX Radio featuring music from various artists on the Billboard Hot 100. This program aired Friday evenings from 7:00 p.m. Friday Night Jamz with DJ Coz on IRMIX Radio aired from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. featuring club remixes from various artists from RnB to Dance artists. Later in 2014, Martone decided to focus on his career in music as a solo artist but would come back periodically to promote singles from his then-upcoming album The Evolution of Martone. During that time Martone had decided to end IRMIX Radio but would reappear on BlogTalkRadio for various specials on Industry R***e in the Mix. Fast forward to Summer 2020, with the world reeling from COVID-19, the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery in the headlines daily and Martone unable to perform to promote his album Erogenous Zone. Martone started mulling over the idea of starting IRMIX Radio all over again. But this time it had to be better than the last he thought. It was not until September 2020, until he decided to bring the station back bigger and better than before. At that time, Martone worked to incorporate IRMIX Radio, LLC and started thinking in terms of who he wants to reach as an audience, where the station could be heard, how he could give independent artists a way to be heard and generate revenue for the station, and when the station would station could be relaunched. So, in October 2020, Martone started to reassemble his team, seeing which ones that would be willing to come back and new members that could contribute that could continuously take the station to new heights and settled on a relaunch date of March 1, 2021. The list of shows that will be coming back and revamped will be available on Friday, January 15, 2021, via an international press release and IRMIXRadio.net. On March 1, 2021, IRMIX Radio will be available on ROKU TV as a downloadable app to the public, a downloadable mobile, and of course a non-membership website. Additionally, IRMIX Radio will have a monthly magazine that will launch in April 2020 – that will feature transcribed articles from previous shows and artist interviews – the magazine will have such topics as mental wellness, and articles that feature topics on relationships. Martone’s vision remains clear for the future of IRMIX Radio as it states in the company’s Vision and Mission Statement. Vision: To be the number one source for music, news, talk radio, and entertainment worldwide. Mission: It is IRMIX Radio’s mission to create responsible radio programming that will provoke thought and inspire our listeners through music and conversation. Additionally, over the years Martone has gained recognition as a passionate, critically acclaimed, award-winning artist with an aim to help others succeed in their careers by giving advice and being a listening ear to anyone that wishes to be heard. In 2016, Martone became a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (The Grammys). In 2021, IRMIX Radio aims to position itself as a leader in internet radio by delivering what the people want to hear when they want to hear it 24-hours-a-day, seven days per week.
