🥅 Hockey Day 2024 is upon us and the rink will be buzzing with games, Chuck a Puck, RINKO, Raffle Baskets, Pull Tabs and our Annual Raffle tickets available.

‼️ Reminder during our Varsity game we will be hosting our 3rd annual Hat & Mitten Toss for the Rice Lake Area Schools. Bring a new set of mittens and/or hat and get in free to the Varsity Game.

The defense for the Rice Lake Warriors girls basketball team was again up to the task in a win over Eau Claire North. In other results for the Warriors on Thursday, the gymnastics team finished atop the standings in the first Big Rivers triangular of the season.

Will Svendsen, Zach Orr and Will Johnson combined for 65 points as Rice Lake boys basketball began Big Rivers Conference play with a 74-63 win over New Richmond on Tuesday night. In other action on the night, the Warriors girls basketball team stayed unbeaten to taking down Lakeland in a state-ranked battle, and Rice Lake boys hockey fell short to Amery.

Rice Lake Warriors girls basketball moved to 3-0 with a win over Altoona on Monday. Rice Lake has an average margin of victory of 33 points so far this season.

🎉 This Saturday, October 12, two-time Olympic medal winner and two-time Diamond League Champion Kenny Bednarek will be in his hometown of Rice Lake for a parade, program, and meet and greet. Action will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the old hospital site on north Main Street. Kenny will be escorted by RLPD and RLFD vehicles down Main Street to Messenger Street, and then to the RLHS athletic complex. Fans and supporters are asked to come and assemble in the stands after the parade. At approximately 11:30 a.m., the program will begin and will include Kenny, former coaches, Mayor Harlan Dodge, and RLMS Band and Choir students. 🎵

At the conclusion of the program, any youth in attendance will be asked to come onto the track and jog a lap with Kenny!

After the lap, Kenny will be available for a meet and greet in the concession stand area. He is bringing 150 autographed "Kung Fu Kenny" headbands, as well as 500 autographed 5x7 photographs to give away. 🖊

Kenny and his family are incredibly excited for this event. Please come and show your support! 🎊

Attention Warrior Football Alumni! This Friday night is Homecoming 2024. We want to extend an invitation for you to join the current Warriors on the field before their game against New Richmond.

If you played Rice Lake Warrior Football, come meet Coach Hill behind the South end zone goal post at 6:45 PM sharp. You will join us as the Warriors warm up with their bull in the ring drill and stand with the team for the National Anthem.

🏈 Join us this Friday, September 27th, for our Homecoming football game as the Warriors take on New Richmond at 7 PM! 🎉 Not only is it Homecoming, but we're also celebrating our very first Veterans Appreciation Night!

All veterans—active duty, reserve, and National Guard—will receive free admission at the gate. We’ll honor our veterans before the National Anthem, and you won’t want to miss the incredible flyover featuring two World War II planes soaring from North to South over the goalposts at approximately 7 PM!

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all veterans for your service. We can’t wait to see you at the game! Go Warriors! 🎊

It was a busy day for Warrior athletics on Tuesday as Rice Lake hosted a cross country invitational, and both soccer and swim and dive held home events. On the road were the golf, tennis and volleyball teams.

Three runners had top-25 finishes as the Warrior high school cross country teams ran the Rice Lake Invitational on Tuesday on the campus of UW-Eau Claire — Barron County.
