I am sure you have seen or heard of the Anniversary Dance at a wedding where we ask all married couples to the floor. We play a song and eliminate couples from shortest the longest marriage, leaving the Bride and Groom on the dance floor and the couple married the longest . This past weekend, I had a never before seen occurrence in my 30+years of DJing. I narrowed them down to 55 years or more and had 2 couples on the dance floor. Called out 60 years and they both bowed out. I go out and talk to them and usually can get it down to the final couple by the year. Couple #1 58 years- Couple #2 58 years, Couple #1 month? July -Couple #2 month? July , Couple #1 Day ? 16th -Couple # 2 Day? 16th, So it came down to the time of the wedding. Couple #1 time? 11:30 am
Couple #2 time?..........11 am we have a winner !!! Separated by only 30 mins.

Very busy day and extremely late night. Below you see our little dog DJ. Well he was not feeling to well yesterday and we knew he was in some sort of pain. We took him to our vet and with xray and exam they suspected an intestinal blockage. They were not able to operate on him there but referred us to a place in Kronewetter approx an hour from home. We took him there and got the same recommendation for the second vet. At 3 am he went to surgery to clear blockage. He is doing well and they were able to get it all taken care of. We will be able to pick him up later today. He will need to be kept " calm" for the next two weeks and will have a CONE OF SHAME ( funny pictures of that to come) . He is my white shadow and I am glad he is on the mend now.

Just played some of her music this last weekend at a wedding. Sorry for the family loss and for the rest of us who will never hear her sing live again..

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tina Turner. With her music and her boundless passion for life, she enchanted millions of fans around the world and inspired the stars of tomorrow.
