Due to the new dog kennel guidelines set by the state with the recent respiratory illness in dogs, the Reynoldsville Borough Kennels are temporarily closed.
If you pick up a dog that does not belong to you, you are responsible for that dog.
For the reasons listed above, the Reynoldsville Borough Police will not be transporting dogs.
If the dog you found has a license, please contact the non-emergency dispatch number at 814-849-1617 with the license number. If the dog does not have a license, please contact the state dog warden at 814-935-1544.
You may post a picture of the dog on social media to locate the owner.

A Salvation Army Angel/Treasures for Children Tree is now up at the Veterans Memorial Park. Select an Angel Tree tag. Purchase the appropriate gift(s) for the child written on the back of the tag. Return the unwrapped gift(s) with the tag gently attached to the Reynoldsville First Methodist Church by December 13-15 9-2 pm or by appointment (814) 653-8593. Other trees will be located at Mike's BILO, Farmer's National Bank, and the Methodist Church.

Hey kids! Come to Eclectic Treasures/ Second Chance store the first three Thursdays in December from 6-7pm. On December 7 hear the story of St. Nicholas. On December 14 hear the story of the candy cane and the Christmas tree. On December 21 hear the story of the first Christmas. There will be cookies and cocoa with the story times. There is also a shelf (for all the children that attend) that has items for $1.00 available for them to buy as Christmas gifts for the family. Wrapping paper will be available for gifts also. There will also be a prize drawing at the end of each story time. Also available again this year are wooden ornaments for honoring or in memory of loved ones. They will be placed on the Christmas tree in the veterans park. The ornaments will be in front of the Eclectic Treasures/ Second Chance store. The honor system will be implemented in purchasing them at $3.00 per ornament.
