Jen and I have really enjoyed all the singing, dancing, and activities we have had the opportunity to partake in with Ollie during his first semester of Play Music with Danielle! It can be difficult to find ways to bond with your young children, but Danielle and her class offers us a truly special way to connect with Ollie once a week. Danielle Humpton also does an excellent job of interacting with all the children regardless of their age. My whole family looks forward to attending next semester!

Why did I decide to compete in the USBF Baltimore Natural Physique show? Well these last couple years I've been feeling like I haven't had a lot of opportunities to really leave my comfort zone. Competing on stage in a Physique show definitely scratched that itch!

I learned a lot preparing for this show, and even more the day of the show. I have gone to many shows with Bob, Jen, and Marsha, but being in the show and watching the rest of the show from the crowd after I finished had me looking at things through a new lens. I now have a better idea of what I did well and what needs improvement.

The show was also an amazing experience to share with Bob. We've been going to the gym 4 days a week since him and Marsha moved to Virginia in 2020, but this was different. I got to see him in his element, how he prepares back stage before a show, and ask plenty of questions. Along with the other competitors who we met and had the opportunity to speak with.

What's next? I'm going to bulk up this year, track my macros better, put a lot more work into my posing and transitions, and get ready for another show next year 💪

🚨 Announcement time 🚨

I quit drinking just over a month before covid and quarantine started. In the beginning everything felt completely out of control, which I'm sure all of you can agree with, but that's when I turned to fitness. Since that moment I haven't looked back.

I have learned discipline, how to be consistent, and some patience as well. My father in-law Bob took me under his wing and taught me so much and for that I cannot express my gratitude. He tells me I'm the one who put in the work, but I truly don't believe I could have done it without him. I have grown immensely both physically and mentally in these last two years 💪

Throughout my journey both in the gym and attending bodybuilding shows I have met incredible people who also have taught me so much. I have learned when to add more weight, when to listen to my body, mind/muscle connection, posing, supplementation, nutrition, and so much more! Thank you to all I have tagged in this post, and anyone I may have forgotten, who have become my friend and who I have enjoyed growing with, as well as sharing inspiration and motivation.

Back to the announcement, this Saturday Bob and I will be competing in a Bodybuilding/Physique show in Baltimore, MD. I am so excited and anxious, but most of all honored to share the stage with my father in-law, Bob ❤️

Last but certainly not least thank you to my amazing wife for all your support and putting up with me during my cutting phase 🤣 I love you so much baby 😘❤️

One year ago today Jennifer and I got married 🤵‍♂️👰‍♀️ at Landini Brothers in Alexandria, VA. Luckily, it was a much warmer day than today or I don't think Jen would have gone for this little impromptu photo shoot 😂

Looking back at all the photos Vincent captured brought back so many great memories from our wedding, the family and friends who joined us in person, and virtually.

Thank you to all who made January 17th such a special day last year, and forever ❤️
