In Mexico on September 16, 1810, a Catholic priest named Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla helped to launch the war for independence from Spain after he issued the "Grito de Dolores," or “Cry of Dolores.” Mexico finally won its freedom after 11 years in August 1821. Happy Independence Day! // En México un día como hoy el 16 de septiembre pero en 1810, un sacerdote católico llamado Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla ayudó a iniciar la guerra por la independencia de España tras dar el 🇲🇽. México consiguió finalmente su libertad después de 11 años en agosto de 1821. ¡Feliz Día de la Independencia!
