Only some schools will be closed today (Tuesday): In-person classes at the University of Nevada, Reno's Redfield campus have been cancelled. All other university locations will be operating as normal.
The Washoe County School District is closing nine schools near the Davis Fire on Tuesday: Galena High School, Marce Herz Middle School, Hunsberger Elementary School, Lenz Elementary School, Pleasant Valley Elementary School, Marvin Picollo School, Incline High School, Incline Middle School, Incline Elementary School. The rest of the district's schools will be in session on Tuesday. Bishop Manogue will also be closed on Tuesday.
