After interviews Thursday with the Red Wing City Council, Mayor, City department supervisors and staff and community stakeholders, the Council voted to offer Christopher Heineman the position of Red Wing City Council Administrator.

Mayor Mike Wilson says the Council expects an answer from Heineman sometime by early in January.

The Goodhue County Board held their Truth-in-Taxation hearing on December 3rd, and they are scheduled to approve the 2025 budget and levy at the Tuesday, December 17 meeting.

According to Goodhue County, a median market-valued home of $287,600 the taxes will increase by $58 next year.
