The clouds were gray but the spirits were bright during Clean Ocean Action's 39th Annual Beach Sweeps! 🧹 🏖️

Derek Riddle, pictured here, acted as a Beach Captain in Deal, NJ at COA's Beach Sweeps - the longest-running annual environmental cleanup in New Jersey. 🌊

Volunteers cleaned over 80 locations along the Jersey coast in an effort to spread awareness of ocean protection and preservation. Data collected throughout the day will be released later this year aiming to influence essential legislation and policies in our area. 🙌

This year, our theme was inspired by Daisy Jones and the Six as we donned 70's gear and listened to yacht rock. 🤘

We participated in an epic Family Feud game led by our UX Competency and enjoyed delicious food from Marilyn Schlossbach Catering & Events.

Tamara joins us from Phoenix, AZ as a Practice Lead.

She earned her BS from the University of Minnesota Duluth, BA from the University of Minnesota and MBA from the California Lutheran University.

Tamara is passionate about philanthropy and supports Austin's Journey Mobile Resource Center, a nonprofit dedicated to mental health solutions by creating audio visual events to build awareness and support for the complexities of the human experience.

She is a mom to two, amazing adult children Marco and Maddy.
