If you need that last minute Christmas gift 🎁 from the ARL for under your Christmas tree you better get it before 2pm today. Why ? Because if you don't you will be ( SOOL ). S**t out of luck.

If you do get it please mark sure the gift 🎁 box that it is wrapped in that is sitting under the Christmas 🎄tree until tomorrow for Christmas day waiting to be unwrapped has holes in it so that it can breathe.

The ARL will be closing early on Wednesday, Dec. 24 at 2pm and will be closed on Thursday, December 25.

We will reopen for our normal hours of operation on Friday, Dec. 26 from 10am-6pm.

Hmmm, 🤔🤔🤔, Well Let's see May have to drive by the arena tomorrow ( Christmas 🎄 eve ) to see if any of the players will be outside practice picketing ( walking 🚶‍♀️ around in a circle ) for possibly the real deal the day after Christmas 🎄. Like I did back in 2023 at my place of employment but unfortunately the real deal never happened at my place of employment due to brainwashing. But hey the positive that had come out of 2023 was that I got about 10 seconds of tv time from wfmz 69 news for just practice walking around in a circle. Thank you wfmz 69 news. Lol, 🤣🤣🤣

Nice we go from snow ❄️ to this. And just think this is all before Christmas 🎄 yet. Ho, Ho, Ho, merry Christmas 🎅. What a nice Christmas 🎄 gift 🎁 the residence who live in cumru township had just got from there own township that they live / reside in.

The increase is needed to offset a loss of real estate valuation and rising staffing costs, officials said.

Sadly! Yes it is true! We have approached the end of the 2025 season. The Final two nights have arrived! Tonight Monday Dec 22nd and Tomorrow Dec 23rd! Both nights we will be open from 5pm- 10pm. Please arrive before 9:00 if you plan on seeing all of the characters as some to wind down earlier than others.

CODE BLUE!

The Animal Rescue League of Berks County has enacted the Code Blue Ordinance for the City Of Reading, PA - Government for the following times:
Sunday 12/21 effective immediately through 11:00 AM Monday 12/22

Tuesday 12/23 1:00 AM-5:00 AM

*Times are subject to change and will be updated here.
Per Bill #22, an amendment added to the City Code, Chapter 141, Part 2 Animals, Section 205 Caring for Animals in 2015, any person who owns, possesses, or has custody of a dog must bring the animal inside their residence for the duration of the code, except for supervised and necessary bathroom breaks and exercise. The temperature threshold for the City of Reading Code is a wind chill temperature of twenty-two degrees Fahrenheit (22° F) or below, or precipitation with temperatures below thirty-two degrees Fahrenheit (32° F).

While these codes are enforceable only within the City of Reading, the recommendation applies to all pet owners in Berks County.

Any person witnessing an unsupervised dog left outside in the elements within the City of Reading should call the Animal Rescue League of Berks County at 610-373-8830 from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm or the non-emergency number for the City of Reading Police Department at (610) 655-6116.
