I moved to Reading ten years ago and instantly fell in love with the artists who live here. The expression of your music and dedication to your community inspired me to dive in and get creative with you all; to build a place where musicians can collaborate and celebrate one another. Somehow, the decade feels like a lifetime but also flew by in an instant. I’m so grateful for all that we’ve created together.
The time has come for my family and me to explore some new opportunities. We are incredibly excited for what’s around the corner, and yet, we’ll miss the home we’ve created here. Reading has taught us so much. It’s helped shape who we are as people and as artists.
This studio served as a living expression of our growth. I took pride in my intention over every detail, even in how I painted the place. I reveled in the symbolism of having an artist color the space with their music. It looked like a black and grey box to most, but I enjoyed every color of the rainbow here. That’s all thanks to you. You made this place magical and unforgettable.
It is with love, eagerness, faith, and gratitude, that I close the door of this studio behind me for the last time. Pagoda City changed my life. I hope that it had a positive impact on yours as well. Thank you for trusting me with your heart and your sound for all of these years. I will never stop believing in you. Here’s to the next chapter. Onward and upward.
