Quill Hill is a very busy place this time of year as peak foliage nears.

Please drive carefully, there will be a lot of traffic going up and down the road for the next week.

Two porta-potties will be installed this week. We will do our best to make sure they don’t get in the way of your photos!

And…. We invite you to enjoy our free annual barbecue on Saturday the 12th from 11am until we run out of food!

This morning I picked up more trash at Quill Hill than ever before - even a full emergency toilet bag 🤢. Please carry in and carry out! Quill Hill is private land that is open for public use. Please help us keep it that way!

Would any of our kind visitors be willing to post photos of our interpretive signs? We need a single photo of each sign. The entire sign, not closeups. You might notice that they are all peeling at the corners. The full photos are needed for a warranty claim (we already have closeup photos). Thanks in advance!!!

Also, we will have a crew up there in the next couple of weeks clearing brush from the side of the road. Be aware and please drive slowly.

Night Sky event at Quill Hill this week! Pre-registration required.

Be aware that the road to the top may be closed periodically throughout the evening to maintain safe (and dark) viewing conditions.
