Since we got into a habit of social distancing, human contact dramatically decreased.. with our main contacts being virtual. In times like this, hugs took a toll! These gestures keep us healthy mentally, emotionally, productive, decrease anger, increase trust. A hug can increase your immense system (don’t believe me? Look it up!), give positive feelings such as safety, belonging, self esteem & self love.

My favorite dates had nothing to do with where we were, how much money was spent, how we looked.. it’s always been the perfect ‘click’ between my person and me.

Bring back First Date Flowers! 🌼Tips to do this grocery stop in pro floral style..
1. Pick long lasting bouquets (carnations, calla lilies, oriental lilies, orchids, spray roses, & regular roses) ones with thick hearty hard stems🌷pinch to test!
2. Find the freshest bunch by scanning blooms for signs of browning, mold, discoloration, or loose petals, a good sign is if they haven’t fully opened 🍂
3. Last supplies- grab some tissue or wrapping paper, or fan fav of butcher paper from the meat counter 🪷 & some ribbon or twine.
4. Prep by stripping the leaves off the bottom, you’ll want to keep the top ones on to help the flowers open, but the leaves that are in the water can grow bacteria 🥀 on them that will make the flower expire more quickly
5. Trim at least an inch of stem, 🌺 make it manageable to carry but tall enough to fit in a vase later!
6. Arrange if you think it needs messing with. Wrap in your paper of choice & tie it up! 💐
