Today I am TWO YEARS SOBER!!!🎉🎉🎉

Sobriety is the greatest gift I've ever given myself, and my life is so much better because of it. If it weren't for sobriety, I would have never even started my business, much less be able to consistently show up for my clients. It's never easy, and everyday I have to CHOOSE sobriety, but it's worth every second of it for this life and business that I've built.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey, especially Joel Simpson.

Got the food pantry at Thrive Community Church organized this weekend!

If you or anyone you know needs food, or if you want to donate, the pantry is located at 201 Wagstaff Rd. Fuquay-Varina, NC. The pantry policy is: "If you need it, take it. If you have it, share it. If you know someone who needs it, take it to them."

Please share so the community can know about this amazing resource!

Thanks again to Goodwill Industries of Eastern NC for the over $850 in food they donated to stock the pantry!

Got the opportunity to spread some community Goodwill today!

I was so excited when Carolyn Hendricks from Goodwill Industries of Eastern NC invited me on a shopping trip to stock the food pantry at Thrive Community Church today! It was amazing to see the impact these two non profits are making together. Food was already making its way out of the door before I even made it home.

Carolyn was even able to help get recurring donations set up so that the food pantry can continue to get food in the hands of people who need it.

Food pantry is located at Thrive Community Church at 201 Wagstaff Rd. Fuquay-Varina, NC.

Carolyn Hendricks and Jason Stone are doing big things out here yall. I'm just blessed to be a part of it.

Quick social media tip for business owners!!

I run into this problem ALL.THE.TIME. when I'm on boarding a new client - they don't have access to their own socials. It goes without saying why this is a problem.

If you have an admin or someone else in-house managing your social media, make sure that you are involved in the setup process and that you maintain full control of your social media. In my opinion, the owner should ALWAYS be the gatekeeper of the social media pages.

It's important to keep in mind that:

1. Facebook business pages are always connected to a personal Facebook account. If you don't have one, make one. The personal account that creates the page also "owns" the page. You own everything else in your business, right? Why not your social media, too?
2. An instagram business page can be connected to a Facebook business page. Your Instagram will also be connected to an email address. If you set up your page under someone else's email, you could lose all access, and that would be a big fat bummer.

So here's your sign to make sure you have access to your accounts! If you need help getting your pages set up or have any questions, I'm happy to help! Just shoot me a message ☺️

Finally got the opportunity to go through the photos from the Knights of Solomon #768 charity motorcycle ride for the Masonic Home for Children in Oxford.

This is just a handful of the moments I captured. I'm really proud of and excited about these photos. I have definitely progressed since last year's event.

Kudos to Jeremy and James of J.B. Simpson Home Inspection for their hard work in organizing this ride, which raised over $15k for the Home. Bravo and thank you for allowing me to be part of it!

Special shout out to Ripptowne Photography for mentoring me in my photography journey, and allowing me to borrow some equipment for this awesome event!

Had a great time helping Joel of All Trades do some renovations at the Clearwater Health DPC Burlington office today. The office is looking awesome so far, and we got to enjoy some good conversations about health, wellness and life.

Also, if you're looking for a primary care physician, look no further than Dr. Tanner Moore. He's extremely knowledgeable and kind, and he really focuses on healing and not on profit. I cannot recommend him enough, and he has an Apex practice for my Triangle friends as well!
