Swisher is honored to lend his expertise in branding, marketing and in social media to share the incredible support Haven House Services provides in our community and for our youth.

Haven House Services is the place where youth who need help find it. Founded in 1973, Haven House operates 11 programs that help more than 1,400 youth in need each year overcome their challenges and find a path to success. Whether they are experiencing homelessness, a crisis at home or school, gang involvement, or problems involving the juvenile justice system, we help youth identify their goals, connect with resources, and build skills needed for long-term success.

Completing his HS career with a 4.8, with an International Baccalaureate degree, named HS Most Outstanding Senior and finishing 4th in a class of 650.

"Shake it off...shake it off!"

Ticketmaster and LiveNation would like us to certainly, "Shake it Off and move on and would also like the government to stop their "Vigilante S**t".

The monster ticket conglomerate or monopoly, controls upwards 80% of the marketplace, isn't "Out of the Woods" yet, but are trying to minimize the "Bad Blood" between them, Taylor, the Feds and customers.

Enough of the not-so-cute play on Taylor's songs, but do we really need the government involved and isn't this a situation/opportunity where the next-best competitor develops better technology, customer experience and deliverable?

The overload of fans trying to buy Taylor Swift tickets caused major tech issues. The singer responds that her team was assured the demands would be met.

Name Image and Likeness (NIL), not to be mistaken with National Letter of Intent day (NLI).

In fact, NLI used to be the biggest day in a high school athletes life. Now it's NIL because as we've sorrily witnessed during it inaugural year, the "student" athlete gets paid cold hard cash (even $13 million) to play for the college of their choice. Or do they?

The ruination or end of college sports, as we know it, may be upon us and it disappoints me, in a way I've not felt before.

The "student" athlete in this article, by the way, has enrolled and played for three different high schools. Yes, high schools! And has already committed and de-committed to and from three colleges.

Oh wait, there's the Transfer Portal (TP). If the "student" athlete does not like the school he/she committed to, doesn't like the coach or isn't getting playing time he/she can transfer up to three (3) time in college.

Last grievance, there is one billion dollars worth of fired coaches salaries to be paid during the next five years.

If this was your business, you'd be FIRED!

The biggest questions facing the ESPN 300 recruit and Florida after his reported $13 million NIL deal with the Gator Collective fell through.

Is this hogwash or is there something to it?

I had an old-school (the 90's) manager once tell me, "Swish, it's all about fun and money and if there ain't no money, there ain't no fun!"

Conversely, when I was director of sales for Raleigh based company, BTI (Business Telecom) in the late 90's and early 2000's we actually had a minister of fun. Yes, I said it, a friggin' minister of fun.

Today, more than ever, I am a proponent of a ministers of fun, directors of wellness and even a chief happiness officer.

Covid, the debate over remote working, the economy and other health and wellbeing stressors demand a different approach today than back when we were young bucks trying to get the next gig.

Tackling worker burnout is a key concern of one of the fastest-growing corporate roles.
