Second Ace ever today with an TeeBird on Hole 4 at Cedar Hills! I love this disc but I’ve almost lost it multiple times. Throwing it will be much scarier now 🤣.

06/13/2022

Jones DGC Hole 19; Par 3; 344ft.

Remember those trees? They're back! For me this is another hole where try to play it safe. If you can land in the fairway, I'd say you're doing pretty good. If you can make it, I'd say go for it. A dogleg right, this hole has a very tight gap. Anything that isn't in the fairway is going to be hard to recover from.

06/10/2022

Jones Park DGC Hole 18; Par 3; 371ft.

Be careful with the tee shot or you might be rolling down a hill. It a slight dog leg right so, a late turn over left to right or a flip up left to right hyzer is the ideal play. There are a lot of trees late so don't be surprised if you hit one.

06/08/2022

Jones DGC Hole 17; Par 3; 401ft.

It a straight shot if you can throw 400 feet. Otherwise I suggest throwing 200 feet twice and taking a par. This is one of those holes where it's best to play within your means. Also be careful flying drones on this hole. I may or may not have broke mine here.

06/06/2022

Jones DGC Hole 16; Par 3; 294 ft.

Oh look! More Trees! This hole seems like it should be a straight shot but, you might have to avoid some trees. So a slight flex shot might be necessary. I usually just bring my disc that can phase through trees.

06/03/2022

Jones DGC Hole 15; Par 3; 250 ft.

This hole is a fun extreme dog leg left. Throw a stable disc on hyzer from right to left. There is also a small gap straight to the hole. It probably isn't the best or intended option but, it's a lot of fun. But, it's too small to fly a drone through 🙃.

06/01/2022

Jones Disc Golf Course Hole 14; Par 3; 340 ft.

Hole 14 is a huge dog leg right. With the trees on the left side, you might need to throw a slight flex or a late turnover left to right shot.

05/30/2022

Jones Park DGC Hole 13; Par 3; 315ft.

Welcome to the scariest hole on the course. Maybe in North Carolina. Is it hard? No. It's just a straight shot. But, is there an annoying possibility your disc could land in the water? Yes. As long as you don't end up in the water, I would consider this hole a success. There's water all along the left side and the trees aren't likely to save you. So GO RIGHT or straight. Really just stay away from the left.

05/27/2022

Jones DGC Hole 12; Par 4; 555 ft.

If you like biridies on par 4s, this is the hole for you. The key features are a mando by the foul pole of the baseball feild and a pond if you go too far straight. Ideally, you want you first shot to be right by the mando. The second shot from there isn't too difficult beside the bushes in the middle of the fairway.

05/25/2022

Jones Disc Golf Course Hole 11; Par 3; 337 ft.

Welcome to the final resting place for many of my discs. Basically, get it over the water and you'll be ok. If you can get it finish right, even better. But, there's no shame in playing the short tee if you like your discs.

05/23/2022

Jones DGC Hole 10; Par 3; 246 ft.

I hope you like trees because this hole has a lot of them. There's a gap on the left and the right but the right has a litte more room for error. Either way, you want to make sure you feel confident with the gap you see. Surprise! If you hit your gap you'll have a decent chance at birdie.

05/20/2022

Jones Park DGC Hole 9; Par 3; 254 ft.

Hole 9 is a blind shot with a well guarded basket. The drive is an open shot that can have a low ceiling depending on the season. I would get a stable disc and throw a right to left shot.
Once you get a feel for the distance, it's a great birdie hole.

03/11/2022

Jones Park DGC Hole 8; Par 3; 331 ft.

If you aren't used to tight straight fairways, get used to them. There's a lot of those holes still to come. This hole is a clear RHFH/LHBH. Either flip up or straight with a late fade to the right. As you get closer to the basket, it gets a little tight. You can be within 20-30ft. and still have a couple of trees in your way.

03/07/2022

Jones Disc Golf Course: Hole 6; Par 3; 365ft.

Hole 6 is a hole that doesn't give you a lot of choices. With the downhill nature of the hole, the 365 ft. isn't as daunting as it may seem. The challenge is keeping it straight for that long. Ideally, you'll have a bit of late fade to the left. However you do that is up to you. The minimum goal is to try and get it to the bottom of the hill. But, you might get a little muddy.

03/07/2022

Jones Park DGC Hole 7; Par 3; 310ft.

For this hole, a straight shot will get you close buy maybe not close enough. My prefernce would be a mini flex line either to the right or the left. I think there is more room on the right but, there isn't as clear of a line. Either way, this hole should be a routine par and a possible birdie chance. This hole has some distance but, is downhill so it should be reachable.

03/04/2022

Jones DGC Hole 5; Par 3; 337ft.

Hole 5 is a straight hole with a slight dogleg right. The safe shot is straight shot up the middle and a up and down to the basket. If you have the distance and control, the shot is a RHFH/LHBH striaght with some late fade. This fairway is tight so either way there's a good chance you hit some trees.

03/02/2022

Jones DGC Hole 4; Par 4; 625ft.

One of the best wide open holes in the area. If you want to practice some maximum distance shots or rollers, this is a great hole to do that. With downhill open fairways, anything goes on this hole. The only thing to avoid is the trees on the left. With two good distance shots, you should be looking at a easy par or possible birdie.

02/28/2022

Jones DGC Hole 3; Par 3; 372 ft.

At 372 ft. this hole seems really long but the downhill nature makes it more reasonable. This hole is a RHBH/LHFH all day. The best shot is a wide hyzer that comes back to the left. It allows you to avoid the trees on the left side of the fairway. Watch out for cars and pedestrians along the road.

02/25/2022

Jones DGC Hole 2; Par 3; 424 ft

If you have around 400 ft of distance and school is in session this hole is a RHBH/LHFH shot. Otherwise, you can do about whatever you want on this hole. Everything to the left of the fence is out of bound and is also a school playground. So you probably want to avoid that if you're playing on a week day. You can play two 200 foot shots or you can rip your first shot chip up whatever is left on the second shot. This hole is difficult due to the distance. If you can birdie, good for you. I'll be taking a Par.

02/23/2022

Jones DGC Hole 1; 335 ft; Par 3

This Hole is a great starting hole. You can throw any shot you want and it won't be a bad choice. As long as you have the distance, this hole isn't one that's going to give you nightmares. All you need to do is avoid the trees on the left. There are trees on the right that would prevent a super wide right to left shot but, even if the trees weren't there, it wouldn't be my first shot choice. There is a little water hazard to the right but, unless you have one of the worst griplocks I've ever seen, it shouldn't come into play.

Hey Everyone, Sorry it’s been a while since I posted. I’m trying to get back into filming. This picture is a story of corrupted footage and breaking my drone 🥲. But the drone is fixed now so hopefully I’ll have some new videos in a week or two.

Cedar Hills Disc Golf Course Hole 18, Par 3, 449 ft. What would you throw?

Hole 18 is very similar to the other Par 4 on this course. The distance isn't daunting but you have to place your shots well to have a chance to birdie. You want to place your first shot around where it starts to bend to the left. The farther up the better becasue is footing is better. From there it's a straight shot to the basket.

03/31/2021

Cedar Hills Disc Golf Course Hole 17, Par 3, 272 ft. What would you throw?

Hole 17 is do or die. It's a hole where you really want the birdie but, to get it you can to make it through a really tight gap. If you don't, you don't know where you're going to end up. Not making the gap doesn't relegate you to a bogey but, depending on where you disc goes, it might not be easy.

03/29/2021

Cedar Hills Disc Golf Course Hole 16, Par 3, 328ft. What would you throw?

Hole 16 has two different pin locations: on top of the hill as seen in the video and down to the left. When the pin is on top of the hill, it's one of my favorite hole designs in the area. It's not one of my favorite holes to play because it can be TOUGH. Unless you park the hole, the ideal landing zone for this hole is on the side of a hill. If you don't hit at least that, you're going to have a hard time getting a par. The hill leads to a lot of roll aways if you're not careful so, this hole could really ruin your afternoon.

03/26/2021

Cedar Hills Disc Golf Course Hole 15, Par 3, 341 ft. What would you throw?

This is another tunnel shot but there is a bit of room to the left farther down the fairway. Anything you can throw straight would be a great choice for this hole. The distance is a little bit decieving due to the downhill nature of the hole so you might be able to get away with a midrange or putter. If you do disc down, you'll still need to put a good amount of power on it.

03/24/2021

Cedar Hills Disc Golf Course Hole 14, Par 3, 282 ft. What would you throw?

Hole 14 is a farily straightforward. If you can throw 282 ft straight then you'll love this hole but, you'll want to make sure you can't throw any farther. The only danger on this hole is the drop off behind the basket. It can turn a birdie shot to a par.

03/22/2021

Cedar Hills Disc Golf Course Hole 13, Par 4, 436 ft. What would you throw?

The first Par 4 of the course Hole 13 isn't a particularly hard hole to birdie but it still feels good to get it. You want your first shot to get to the top of the hill in as open an area as you can place it. You don't want to be too far over to the left or the right because of the trees in your way. The distance isn't much of an issue for a Par 4 but, this hole requires some placement.

03/19/2021

Cedar Hills Disc Golf Course Hole 12, Par 3, 374 ft. What would you throw?

In my opinion, this is one of the harder holes on the course. While it plays downhill, the distance on this hole is still daunting. For me, par is the most likely outcome but I can't say I haven't bogeyed it a few times. So break out you're straightest flying driver and get it as far as you can.

03/17/2021

Cedar Hills Disc Golf Course Hole 11, Par 3, 294 ft. What would you throw?

Hole 11 is fairly easy as long as you stay to the right of the basket. Anything that doesn't go into the woods on the left should have a fairly easy up shot for par. While you probably want to throw something that finishes to the left, you also want to make sure you get the distance before that happens.
