Live Prison Blog Live Prison Blog (LPB) is a new journey for a generation that has spent decades behind bars and is now having their stories heard.

HOW IT STARTED
In January 2023, all telephone audio calls made by California state prisoners were made free of charge to the incarcerated persons receiving the call. Calls made on custody-phones, particularly devices owned by VIAPATH (formally GTL - Global Tel Link) no longer billed or blocked collect calls made from California inmates. The following month of May, access to these devices were intr

oduced into the California prison system (including the 700+ death row inmates at San Quentin State Prison) as part of the states enhanced technologies programming alternatives for the California prison population. This was especially significant for a population of inmates housed in a state of isolation/solitary confinement (many for decades) on death row, and it didn't take long for inmates to become media savvy. Using the devices simple ear bud microphone to record via telephone, LPB was able to establish communication with the editorial team of Papyrus Collective, a group of California death row writers and the creators of Write Or Die Zine project, to document their conversations and interviews from inside the largest death row housing unit in the western hemisphere with a new medium at their disposal.

TITLE- CDCR Mental Health Abuse @ EOP Program

During in cell feeding, they leave the tray slots open
on the door for trash pick up.
I sat the tray on the door along with trash and sat down to engage my GTL Tablet when I noticed out of my peripheral vision someone sn**ch leftover partially eaten food from the tray.

#1. Ew
#2. He's a BLK Man, dusty and unshowered, smells like who did it and what for, cell is super dirty.
#3. He walks the scraps over and exchanged it for a
$2 dabb of spice, he turns, light the spice, smoke it and
fall to the ground looking dead and not moving, well, sometimes they yell as if a demon is trying to get out of him, or full body convulsions kick in.

This happens at least 6 times a day out on the yard, but each time,
the CO's call the entire prison yard down when they notice a guy leaning sideways, or laying on the ground looking dead or doing the spice twitch dance and they call an emergency medical man down drill.

They sometimes give Narcan to a spice head which is super stupid,
other time's when a guy wakes up surrounded by a swarm Cop's, or is experiencing a mental health crisis while on spice, they surround him, swarm with over 11 CO's like the Cowboys and Indians movie's and then they pounce and violently body slam the guy to the ground yelling "STOP RESISTING",
then they force a spit mask on him before they force him into a wheelchair and roll him to where ever, backwards, while everyone else sit on the ground and resume regular program when the show is over....... :-(

Then they started calling Yard Recall which turned into a divide and conquer atmosphere where the swarming is no longer by Cop's, yes, in the Mental Health EOP facility.

The guy show's up 20 mins later with bruises on his face with no memory of what happened, score more spice and do it all over again. (Roll Tape anyone?)

Colman auditor's don't see it, but mental health staff do and then, do nothing.

LIVE PRISON BLOG:

TITLE- COLEMAN

In 1997, when I first arrived on Death Row at San Quentin State Prison, there was aguy there named
Mr. Coleman. I never spoke to him, he was in my opinion, "Not All There".

Turns out, He is responsible for filing a lawsuit that demanded CDCR to provide better Mental Health Care Programming for inmate's.

For the past 3 day's, the " Colman " oversight personnel has been conducting audit's at SVSP. I spoke to them and they said Mr. Coleman died recently.

I shared with them that in spite SVSP being a "Transgender" hub facility, the Mental Health Dept.
has no LGBTQIA+ focused programming and that all programming is hetero normalized.

In fact, my head clinician Dr. Pham told me yesterday that he had no idea that SVSP was a hub facility for Transgender, Non binary and Intersex residents.

I also shared the fact's that Level 4 non- Mental Health participant sexually harassed a Level 3 EOP resident at Mule Creek State Prison which is in fact a Level 3/EOP Designated Facility and the Mental Health Staff did nothing about it in spite Colman court ordered oversight for the overall programming in the Education Department, Religious Department and Mental Health Department of all EOP residents.

I was asked did I file a grievance. Yes, and both grievances are deadline OVERDUE.

I was asked if I reached out to Coleman Attorneys.
Yes, still no response after 3 month's of continuous
Reaching out.

My condolences to the Colman family for his recent passing, but his name and work is now only a paycheck for those pretending to provide adequate Mental Health Care Services and Protections and represents the largest Mental Health Care scheme in the history of the State of California .

Sexual harassment and sexual abuse is not a part of the sentence and neither is sexual identity discrimination in program model's that service a vast demographic of prison populations.

Coleman himself was very clear on that.

Title- THE POT CALLING THE KETTLE

American vice-president Kamala Harris is pandering the African American voter's in her bid to become a series of historical first in this years Presidential election.

I've noticed when it comes to criminal justice, Donald Trump has a record of relieving notable Rapper's and Innocent African Americans from further harm by the injustice system, and providing others a pathway to redeeming self leadership while returning to society etc.

Kamala Harris is known for not seeking the death penalty against anyone while she served as San Francisco's head prosecuting District Attorney,
She then, turns around as California's Attorney General
and created a staff that aggressively fought against the State and Federal Appeal's of volumes of California Condemned African Americans.

Had it not been for nonprofit group's like
Initionative Justice, Private Defense Lawyers, Law School Student's and the ACLU, many African American Condemned residents would still have the sentence of death and still being heavily prosecuted against.

The major "Pot calling the Kettle Trump" issue here is amplified by the fact that the larger percentages of
California overturned African American Condemned resident conviction's came as a direct result of evidence of a plethora of "PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT".

Today, innocent African American's are still under the sentence of death and I am one of those innocent African American Condemned Residents, while unable to vote, is sitting here watching a lot of African American voter's support Kamala Harris as she plays the selective African American position as " THE POT ", calling Donald Trump " THE KETTLE " a negative connotation, of a word, that should empower All Americans of African descent.

Kamala Harris is betraying African American voter's and the Condemned as she bewitchingly smiles into the naïveté of King's and Queen's and supporter's of
Equality.
