New River Radio Group is a Radford-based company formed in Dec 2018 solely to purchase and operate four local radio stations and related sports broadcasts and digital/interactive products.
Our focus and interest is in serving The New River Valley area listeners and businesses. We are a small business just like many of the businesses we work with. We take pride in supporting local businesses first and foremost because their success is our success.
As a privately-held broadcast company, we don't have to weigh the whims of Wall Street against the needs of the constituents we serve.
