The The Pulse Of The New River Valley, Virginia - Punks With Peace Signs/Ron Harris & Gavin Harris give justice to these well played Grateful Dead tunes they easily make their own. They turn He's Gone into a straight up rocker that compliments their style. Both are followed by their own instrumental, Smash Cat Jam. An extended Jam that was improvised and recorded in real time. Picasso Moon - "Hardheaded Women"
The very first song that Gavin and I wrote together. This is before we had any decent recording equipment. So it's basically recorded with a phone camera. Not the greatest quality for sure, but it certainly shows the potential that was to come. We're tight as a tick! Gavin was 14 years old at the time this was shot and laying down a rock'n groove!

Picasso Moon -Alibi
Revisiting Alibi a year after the song came to us out of the blue, as most of our songs tend to do. I was a little surprised myself, listening to the playback of this first take, which had the chord progression, arrangement and lyrics intact, done! We didn't change a thing on this one! It was about as perfect as perfect gets! Gavin gives a master class performance in his playing, mixing and video production. It's truly first class all the way! It's a beautiful thing to paint a masterpiece where an empty canvas stood only a minutes before. I just wish another great song would find a home with us as easily as this one did last August. With that said, our antennas are extended, waiting to receive and transmit!

Another fine output that was developed on the spot. The lyrics and chord progression was a true first take. Dad reeled off the lyrics instantaneously, as he has so many times before.. That's quite the genius to have that capability that I suspect very few possess. There was very little of the arrangement that needed adjusting. I have a good idea how I intend to approach this from an audio viewpoint.

Mick Jagger will be 79 in two weeks. He's very likely one of the most fittest men on planet earth. Add that to being amazingly cool, a hipster, one half of the greatest songwriting team ever,(Jagger -Richards) as the greatest front man ever, who's been singing for The greatest and most successful Rock'n Roll band the world has ever known, selling out stadiums around the world for 60 years now. He also happens to be a pretty damn good actor, twice married, the father of 8 kids and 5 grandchildren. It should be noted that he had heart surgery in 2019 and had Covid last month, which clearly hasn't slowed him down any at all, still moving, shaken, strutting, skipping, running and dancing while singing for 80,000 raving mad, fanatical Rolling Stones fans for 2 and half hours without missing a lick! And for all it's worth, one of Sir Mick Jagger's greatest honors was being Charlie Watts Singer for 59 years! Rock on Mick Fu***ng Jagger!
