Here's a deal I'm gonna pass on to my followers... This is a repop cab, on a Tonka pumper truck frame, and a handmade bed, and a 60s Bandai VW.. I'll do 200 plus shipping for for both, or 170 plus the ride for the truck only. I have a winch to go with it, just haven't put it on. The VW sits there because of the bump n go underneath..

So I have this white 59 Tonka I put together. I'm not a collector so I usually sell about everything. I love to make, and customize. And make other people's collections a little better.. lol. So I'm passing this beauty on.. it is a custom. Tonka didn't make a white stepside with Tonka on the door. The ones that were made in white were Gambles trucks. This one, I put together mainly because I'd never seen a plain white Tonka.. lol. Anyway, if your interested I'll do $125 plus shipping on it. PS it is 100% complete, but the tailgate is primer gray.. Man it'd look really cool with an original white sportsman topper..

Kinda done a thing over the weekend.. My goal is to sell the good stuff, which is REALLY GOOD, and get my channel back up and going, and sell some parts and toys.. What yall think? Sound like a good plan or what?.. lol

On Friday, July 12 2024 at around 4 pm, the world lost a pretty amazing man.. Mr. Keith Vanderpool.. Keith has always been one of the most kind, respectful, gentle, and patient men I've ever met.. He was a great husband. He was a great father. And he was a great grandfather. He spent his time and money, building some amazing toys for his grandson, and others for tributes to organizations and friends. Everyone who met Keith became a friend to him right away, and knew how special of a person they had met.. Keith influenced my life, he encouraged me many times, when I needed it the most. He pulled me out of slumps, when I was struggling to get motivated to build toys, and he never complained about the time. He would place big orders that he knew would help me tremendouslyfinancially, and mentally. . He was always happy when we met to get what he'd ordered. He gave me some pretty GREAT deals on things, and several times would just hand me stuff and say he just wanted me to have it. Keith was always an inspiration, and a man that we should all strive to be.. Rest in peace my dear friend. The world has truly lost one the the greats.. Here's a short video I put together in his honor and memory showing some of the great toys he built over the years.. Even after his passing, he's still here to help me through my tough time. And friends like him just don't come around but once in a lifetime. I'm gonna miss my friend, but his name and influence, I'll never let fade in the pressed steel toy community..

Well, that's fixed.. Took forever, but took care of my mistake.. lol. To bad this one is so pitted..

Been thinking on this problem for a few days now.. It basically stopped all progress tbh.. Can't seem to win for losing. Lol

So, I soaked another Winnebago in vinegar to get the paint and rust off. It takes about a week or 2 maybe at most. Just plain ol white vinegar, NOT cleaning vinegar. I use a plastic bin with a good lid because it really stinks, and open air will dilute the potency of the vinegar, so keep it closed.. This vinegar is about a year or so old. I decided to get some of the old paint out of it, and keep using it. It still has plenty of power, it's just dirty. But when I'm ready to change it, I'll strain the paint chips and pout the rest on the grass in my driveway. It'll kill the grass, but isn't bad for the environment. You can pout it right down the drain if ya want. Just strain the old paint before you get rid of the vinegar..

Is it a Smith Miller..????? Well, let's find out.. Here's the story I got shortly after I bought it, and started asking around. A well known Smith Miller guy told me this story.. Judging by his collection, and parts bins, I feel pretty confident he told me the truth, but I'll keep his name to myself
