Hello Edinburgh! A little slower pace than London. Old Waverly Hotel is nice, still has physical keys for the rooms.

Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood House for the win today. Also an afternoon tea with clotted cream and jam was delicious!

Today we traveled from London to Edinburgh on the LNER train. Caught Platform 9 3/4 before the train at King’s Cross Station.

Beautiful countryside and the ocean! We had a meandering bus tour around old Edinburgh and a fantastic pasta dinner.

Double day post! Yesterday was Greenwich after a boat ride on the Thames.

Then today we saw Stonehenge and Bath. The group tried to move one of the Stonehenge stones and almost did it 😜.

Two of our group saw Hampton Court, and give it rave reviews. Dr. Justin Coffey would have loved it.

Today The London Experience went to a prison and a palace, the Tower of London. A walk across the tower bridge, lunch at Borough Market and Evensong at St. Paul’s.

The London Experience has a short post for a long day yesterday. We started at Westminster Abbey, went to The Black Dog Pub for lunch (IYKYK), Trafaglar Square, The National Gallery, and Wicked and Hamilton. Pizza at midnight closed the day.

Travelers on The London Experience 2025 walked in the halls of kings and queens at Windsor Castle today. They also visited the town of Windsor, ate fish and chips, shopped and walked along the river.

The night ended at a Queen’s Park Rangers v. Luton Town football game. We cheered QPR on to a 2-1 victory!

The London Experience travellers had a great (but rainy) day in London today. We started with The British Museum, then the London Eye, the Leake Street arches, and Chinatown for dinner.

The intrepid QU travelers had an interesting first day for The London Experience 2025.

A late flight threw the day off, but everyone rallied and we made it to Paddington Station area.

Our real adventure starts tomorrow.
Here we are in ORD with hopes for the day ahead.
