Needing to catch up a bit in announcing four more film festivals for "Tales From Shakespeare: Folios & Follies"!! TfS is an Official Selection and the Love & Hope International Film Festival. Additionally it reached Semi-Finalist status at (BlastOff Film Festival) and all the way to Finalist status for Best Poster Design at the for ' s amazing original design (which we went and slapped these 19 Laurels onto!)
Cannot thank the festivals enough for these honors!

Delighted to announce that Tales from Shakespeare: Folios and Follies has won awards in two excellent monthly festivals and is moving on to the annual competition in the category of Best Feature Film at Bridge Fest 2023!
At the Grand Cine Carnival Maldives it took the Critics' Choice Award for Experimental Film.

THREE great pieces of news today.
Deeply honored to announce that Tales from Shakespeare won Best Experimental /Art Feature at the Indie Movies Sparks Film Festival!!
Added to that it placed in the top 3 of the Best Feature Category with an Honorable Mention at the Athens International Monthly Film Festival
AND, to top it all off,
Was given an Honorable Mention in the Feature Films category at....drumroll... the Stratford On Avon Film Festival (which Shakespeare nerds like us are likely to appreciate as much as we did).

Congratulations everyone!! Over a hundred artists were involved in the production of this epic indie and we can't tag nearly that many but your efforts are greatly appreciated. Everyone will soon have a chance to see your work on streamers old and new.

is ramping back into production!

To finish our films Ragnarok Productions has partnered with Hop Top Films who will complete filming on Above Arkham and Nihilist Media who will complete Within Arkham!

Some epic partners for an epic undertaking!
Many thanks to Evan Schneider and Collin Rousseau for pinch-hitting to make sure these two films are completed at the highest possible quality (available to us at this level of film-making).

We will be launching a crowd-funding effort tomorrow- featuring a teaser trailer for Within Arkham!
The crowd-funding will go to cover the cost incurred within these final days of production and, in the event that we exceed our goal, those funds will go toward post-production.

The productions will be rolling all four of the next upcoming weekends, so stay tuned for more updates as Nihilist Media and Hop Top help us bring these pictures to life!

"Thank you for the incredible support to our films- we are abidingly grateful to those who donated, shared, and interacted with the project. Breaking $12K is an amazing thing.

It was and will continue to be a massive undertaking and the production team was not able to make conditions on set what they needed to be for many of the artists who were working on the film, so we are pausing production until we can chart a path forward that allows those issues to be addressed.

This will involve a major set of shifts- in planning, preparation, and communication- but also in our financial calculus. With that, rather than make a last push at this time, we have decided to cancel the fundraising until we have a clearer picture of what continuing will entail.

We are committed to seeing that these films are completed and those of you who were excited to share in the viewing of them will definitely have a chance to do so!

We will still be sharing the teaser we promised as well as more news when there is news to pass on!"

While we're hard at work with 4 days of filming this "weekend" and next, this "Meet the Cast of Above Arkham" Promo features some new footage from our work last weekend.

Especially as we work hard creating a blend of practical and green screen FX this weekend, we are reminded of how important it is that folks donate and share at bit.ly/NEWARKHAM. Coming short of our funding will very much slow down what promises to be an involved post production process and we want to get these movies in front of you!
