Panthers complete three-peat by winning another State Farm Holiday Classic championship

One shot jumpstarted that. Lexi Niekamp buried a 3-point to push the Panthers’ lead back to double digits and spark a 15-5 run over the remainder of the third quarter, catapulting CSE to a 62-35 victory at the Shirk Center and its third consecutive Classic championship.

Saukees keep undefeated record intact after historic title run at Lady Tiger Classic

The Saukees have a tournament title to their name, and they will ring in the new year with a zero still in the loss column. Pittsfield defeated West Hancock 53-40 on Monday to capture their first Lady Tiger Classic crown and improve to 15-0.

The finish to the MVIT championship game was as exciting as any title game of any holiday tournament around. The Payson Seymour boys basketball team forced overtime with a buzzer-beating 3-pointer from Blake Schwartz and then outlasted Mendon Unity 64-62 to win the title.

Blue Devils complete their mission to finally win title at Collinsville Prairie Farms Holiday Classic

The Blue Devils won their first holiday tournament championship in nearly three decades, defeating The Woodlands Christian Academy (Texas) 68-47 in the title game at Vergil Fletcher Gym for their fifth Collinsville crown overall.

For the first time since 1997, the Quincy High School boys basketball team wins a holiday tournament title, beating The Woodlands Christian Academy 68-47 in the championship game of 40th Collinsville Prairie Farms Holiday Classic.

Keshaun Thomas is named the tournament MVP with Bradley Longcor III and Kamren Wires each receiving all-tournament honors. Longcor is just the second player in Classic history to earn all-tourney honors four times.
