The Generals end up being tied for 3rd at the State Track Meet. Congrats to Stuart Pirtle for 4 individual state titles and third in the high jump. Also, congrats to Yionnah Lonas for 6th place in the shot and all participating athletes. This will end our reporting for the school year. We hope you've enjoyed the scores and info this year. A big thank you to our coaches for reporting the scores. Hope to see you in the fall.

Stuart Pirtle captures his 4th individual title at the State Championship with another school record in the 300m hurdles. Pirtle clocked a 39.04. The Generals are currently in second in the team competition with 3 events left.

Boys 4 X 100 relay places 8th. Nick Totten, Kalub Franklin, Aidan Ayala, and Stuart Pirtle run 44.24.

Stuart Pirtle wins the 110m hurdles in a school record time of 14.31 seconds. The Generals are .5 points out of first place after 9 events.

After Friday, the Generals boys track team currently is in 4th place at the VHSL Class 2 Track and Field Championship. Stuart Pirtle won the triple jump (45' 4 3/4) and placed 3rd in the high jump (6'4"). The meet concludes today and is being held at JMU.

Boys soccer loses a heatbreaker 1-0 at Central in the Region 2B Quarterfinals.

Members of our boys and girls track teams competed in the Region 2B meet today held at East Rockingham. The boys finished in 3rd place. Stuart Pirtle led the boys with first place finishes in the 110m hurdles, 300m hurdles, long jump, and triple jump. He also finished tied for 3rd in the high and 5th in the shot. Levi Riffey won the boys discus. On the girls' side Yionah Lonas won the shot put. All the boys and girls that placed are in the results pictured below.

Congratulations to Ava Pittington and Lily Beedle for their 6-1, 7-5 victory over Stuart's Draft in the Regional doubles quarterfinals. The Generals advanced to the semifinals before falling to Central in a competitive match 5-7, 2-6.
