Back in 1995, dear friend Elizabeth Czajkowski-Rotfeld was diagnosed with a kidney disease called IgA nephropathy. Basically this disorder is caused by deposits of the protein immunoglobulin A (IgA) inside the glomeruli (filters) within the kidney. This Non Profit Spotlight helps to put a spotlight on ways to help those who are in search for a Kidney, just like Lizzie. There is no doubting that if ever there was a person deserving of a good deed from another, it would be Elizabeth Rotfeld! Visit a "Kidney for Lizzie" on Facebook.
