Spring Carlisle 2021: 1955 Corvette For Sale

At the Spring Carlisle 2021 event, this Harvest Gold 1955 Corvette E55-001230 was for sale for $115,000. There were only 700 roadsters produced. The Black Book shows there were only 7 with the six-cylinder, and the owner said this is one. 1955 is when the Blue Flame 6-cylinder engine was joined in the Corvette lineup by Chevrolet’s first small-block V8, of which 693 of the 1955 Corvettes chose the V8, making this a rare car. With the choice of the Harvest Gold, the only available combination was the Yellow interior with Green dash trim and a Dark Green soft top. 1968 Corvette For Sale

FOR SALE: Offered for sale, SURVYVR, a 1968 Bloomington Gold Benchmark Certified, Rally Red, 327/350 4 Speed, Black Leather Coupe. One of only twenty ’68 model year Corvettes to earn the prestigious Benchmark award. Extensively documented including original order form, invoice, final build sheet, and protect-o-plate, this NCRS Top Flight and MCACN Concours Gold and Triple Diamond gem was in the private collection of Kevin Mackay, "The Corvette Hunter," for 14 years. Judged, confirmed, and recognized, this Corvettes at Carlisle 2020 Chip’s Choice Selection has the provenance to start or complete a collection. It has the #s matching, born with drive train; the venerable L79 engine, M20-4 speed and 3.55 Posi Rear. The highly original all lacquer coupe is in time capsule condition with only 56,000 verified miles. The car includes the correct complete new 2½” Off Road Exhaust system, two sets of wheels and tires, and the original spare. For show judging, it rides on the original 7” rims with date correct F70-15 Goodyear red striped tires adorned with a stunning set of ’68 only P01 wheel covers. You also have a set of radial repro red lines on 8” rims with P02s, 215/75 front and 235/70 rear for meets or runs. This notably optioned survivor (they are only original once) features; AM/FM Stereo Radio, Rear Window Defroster, Telescopic Steering Wheel, Speed Warning Indicator, Full Transistor Ignition, Special Off Road Exhaust, and all of the original Tinted Glass. Many extras including judging sheets and awards, original ’68 only grills, correct OEM PF 29 oil filter from 4-68, and two covers. Featured in January and March Vette Vues.
