SOCO Student Media is a student-run, faculty-advised media organization at Colorado State University Pueblo that provides an opportunity for all students to participate in shaping media, entertainment, and creative arts in the Southern Colorado region. Our portfolio and resources include:
* An online converged media and news site, socostudentmedia.com, which consists of stories by The Today and mu
ltimedia content by Revolution 89.5 and Digital Sandbox
* Print editions of The Today Magazine each semester, which consist of long-form feature stories and other content
* An 8,000-watt FM radio station, Revolution 89.5 (KTSC-FM), along with a recording studio and podcast studio
* A 3,000 square-foot film and video production studio, Digital Sandbox, which has full streaming and production capabilities
* A Digital eXperience Lounge (DXL), complete with 13 wrap-around monitors and a multipurpose performance space

“Rev 89” (KTSC FM 89.5) is a student-run, faculty-advised 8,000-watt non-commercial educational radio station. The station serves Pueblo, Colorado and the surrounding community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Today:

Student journalists write content that is distributed online regularly on socostudentmedia.com, as well as long-form stories and other content published in The Today Magazine each semester. Digital Sandbox is a student-run, faculty advised film and video production group operating out of a 3,000 square-foot film and video production studio with full streaming capabilities.
