Rachel didn’t want to wait to be endowed.

She decided not to serve a full-time mission but as a faithful Latter-day Saint, she wanted to be endowed. She felt a hole in her faith.

Rachel heard Elder Soares share a particular caution.

He said that one should not wait to receive the blessings of the temple.

She felt strongly that the empty space in her faith needed to be filled with her endowment.

And for her particular journey, she was right.

To this day, she has not regretted her decision to be endowed earlier than she expected.

Emily waited 4 years to be baptized.

She knew her family wasn’t excited about her decision to be baptized.

When she got engaged, she immediately thought about the challenges of a mixed-faith wedding.

Her family wouldn’t be in the sealing- would she feel alone?

Would her family feel abandoned by her?

All of her hard work to be baptized seemed to make this important life decision incredibly difficult.

Was it worth it?

The sealing day arrived. Emily walked into the sealing room and was overcome with love.

Her support system was there, cheering her on. She felt so loved.

Emily learned about the Church when she was young and quickly desired to be baptized. But there was a big problem… Not yet being an adult, she didn’t have permission to get baptized. Her wait would be 4 years long. But would she still be interested after 4 years? And would her family accept her after baptism?

It had been 4 years since Sophia prayed.

After searching for a religion, she became an atheist and gave up on prayer.

But now, she felt that God was real and that she needed to pray.

After her prayer, she decided to start meeting with the missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ.

The lessons were interesting but the speed was too swift and she immediately went back to her old life.

But within just a few months, Sophia wanted to feel the spirit again, the feeling she felt with the missionaries and inside of the Church.

She reached out to new missionaries and started reading the Book of Mormon.

The Book of Mormon began to change her. It overwhelmed her with hope and peace.

“Everything I had ever believed in and ever wanted in a gospel is right here.”

Sophia started gaining an interest in religion but many of her questions weren’t getting answered in the places she was looking. She eventually found the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was fascinated by the religion. She decided to attend a baptism. The Spirit hit her like nothing she had ever felt. Growing up, Wilson loved playing baseball. But each of the tournaments landed on a Sunday.

A rule in Wilson’s household was to refrain from playing organized sports on Sunday.

Wilson’s coaches would question him on his decision.

And the sacrifice was not easy.

From a young age, Wilson had countless experiences that forced him to decide if he wanted to take his religion seriously.

Initially, it was difficult. But with time, Wilson began to recognize the “why” behind his decisions.

And today, Wilson sees the positive impact of those decisions (both small and great) and is grateful for a God who knows Him.

He talks about growing up in the Bible Belt, being mocked for his beliefs, determining if he had the same beliefs as his parents, and choosing to refrain from playing organized sports on Sunday.

We hear magical conversion stories and want the same experiences to happen to us. But usually these stories are told AFTER the convert had gone through the mundane. So don’t expect to see the magic unfold until after you’ve heeded those little promptings ❤️❤️

Deb was determined to join the church.

Her loved ones were against her decision to join. Was she missing something?

She wanted to make an educated decision.

So she read significant information for and against the Church.

Much of the negative information was presented in convincing ways but it seemed to omit important facts.

She consulted people who had already sifted through all of the information and was able to confidently make her decision.

She decided to join the Church.

And while many things changed in her life, she loved this new trajectory.

Spencer never felt like he had a “miraculous conversion” but rather, he saw little touches throughout his life that prepared him for his baptism just 3 months ago.

Like Spencer, we are all being prepared for important events in our life. Don’t let the seemingly little progress discourage you!

On July 16th, 2022, Spencer was planning on running at a USATF event with some of the top runners in the nation.

Before the race, Spencer was filled with an emotion he hadn’t felt before. He felt like something big was about to happen.

And it had nothing to do with the race.

Right then, a well-known runner, Jared Ward, walked into the room.

Spencer started talking with Jared. With time, he felt that there was something different about him.

This experience sparked his interest in studying more about the Church of Jesus Christ.

Jared wasn’t shy about his belief system and Spencer trusted his word.

Spencer was baptized in April 2024 by his good friend, Jared.

Spencer has an incredible passion for running. While participating in his sport, he began researching more and more about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Jared Ward, Clayton Young, and Conner Mantz being key players in his spiritual journey). Spencer found himself finding an increased interest in wanting to join the church rather than simply studying about the church. This is an episode you don't want to miss!!

Just last fall, Thomas was faced with the decision on whether or not to be baptized.

He thought he wanted to be baptized but a missionary teaching him advised him that he needed to be more sure of his decision.

So he decided to make a list. He started with the title.

“Why do I want to get baptized?”

The list started flowing.

“I feel the Holy Ghost telling me to do so.”

“To welcome others to the church.”

“To grow closer to my Savior, Jesus Christ.”

After writing a 15 point list, Thomas knew.

He knew it was time to devote his life to Jesus Christ.

After returning home from a trip to Utah, Thomas felt a deep desire to visit again. When moving to Utah eventually became a possibility for Thomas, he quickly relocated. While exploring his new home, he met sister missionaries who invited him to church and eventually began sharing the gospel with him. He felt a desire to learn more and eventually to be baptized. But did he truly know that he wanted to be baptized? Watch the video to learn more about this incredible story!!

In Vickie’s Gethsemane, she wondered where God had been. Eventually she realized this truth- that she would continue to experience Gethsemane but that God would be with her ALWAYS.

Jonathon always defended the logic and reason of the church but didn’t have the faith that was so necessary in his journey.

When he finally pursued faith, everything changed.

Vickie’s miracle baby boy was just 6 months old when he didn’t wake up.

Just before he came into her life, she had a spiritual confirmation in the temple that he was coming.

He was a foster child and fit so perfectly with her family. He was meant to be with them.

His death was so unexpected, so confusing.

In her confusion, Vickie started questioning God.

“God either didn’t love me or I wasn’t faithful enough to merit a miracle.”

Everything was broken. And she carried the weight of the blame.

“What did I do? What didn’t I do?”

It wasn’t until she finally gave the weight to God that she felt the pressure dissolve.

How could this be? How could she feel so much better after such a period of intense sorrow?

While His plan doesn’t always make sense, God always delivers.

Someone told Jonathon that he should start praying. But he didn’t believe in God.

So he resisted.

Shortly before this advice was given, Jonathon had hit rock bottom and reached out to his dad for help.

His good dad responded with infinite love and grace…

But the very next day, his dad unexpectedly lost his life.

Jonathon was destroyed.

And maybe praying could be given a try.

So he started saying rote prayers, going through the motions to check off a box.

When Jonathon was young, his dad would take him to the LDS Church. But his dad was gone now.

The days of faith were long gone.

One day, he was going through a prayer, expressing his thoughts to some foreign god… when he felt like someone was listening.

He knew this feeling.

He recognized the feeling from his youth.

God was listening. He’d been listening all along.

Jonathon knew he needed to find the church of his childhood. He needed that feeling forever.
