Being in the mud with those you love isn't always fun but it can mean the WORLD to somoene who is struggling. Jason was dealing with a serious mental breakdown when his wife simply sat with him. They didn't exchange words, she just sat with him. And it was all he needed in that moment.

We are so grateful to be joined by Austin, the writer of the Light and Truth letter! Austin lost his faith in the Church of Jesus Christ in 2014 and spent many years trying to find more light and truth. He turned back to the Church and ended up writing a letter about his findings.

Our wonderful host, Lauren, shares her conversion story to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Lauren was introduced to the Church by her boyfriend but didn't take it very seriously. She eventually joined the Church, went inactive, and struggled with some mental health problems. When she decided to start going back to Church, she decided to move to Utah. She has learned SO MUCH over the years and has such a powerful testimony. WE LOVE YOU, LAUREN!!!

Just over a year ago, Ali was baptized. Two weeks after his baptism, he called his parents to tell them of his decision to be baptized. His parents immediately cut him off and haven't spoken to him since. But he has never felt alone and has never doubted his decision to be baptized. In fact, he is currently serving a mission in London, England to share the gospel he loves so much.

Ali joined the Church just over a year ago and is now serving a mission. He converted from Muslim to Latter-day Saint. His family has disowned him but his faith in God has never been stronger.

In this episode, Ali shares his story of growing up in a devout Muslim household, moving to Utah, learning about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, going to Church, reading the Book of Mormon, meeting the missionaries, believing Jesus Christ as his Savior, getting baptized, and being disowned by his family. Ali is an incredible example of resilience, devotion, and trust. He is currently serving his mission in London, England.

Danny decided to get baptized. But he promised his mom that he would meet with a pastor first.

What he thought would be a nice, cordial conversation was something totally different.

The pastor presented all kinds of information to dissuade Danny from joining the Church.

And he was successful.

But only for a little.

Danny decided to sift through the information, look through evidence, and determine what he believed.

He decided to be baptized.

And to this day, it was one of the best decisions of his life.

Rachel didn’t want to wait to be endowed.

She decided not to serve a full-time mission but as a faithful Latter-day Saint, she wanted to be endowed. She felt a hole in her faith.

Rachel heard Elder Soares share a particular caution.

He said that one should not wait to receive the blessings of the temple.

She felt strongly that the empty space in her faith needed to be filled with her endowment.

And for her particular journey, she was right.

To this day, she has not regretted her decision to be endowed earlier than she expected.
