Hellooooo, to all of you who've made records with, performed at, spent time at, supported, or otherwise followed the goings-on of Studio Studio Dada! What a journey! Thanks for being here through it all.
This autumn is a big milestone for me and my little production practice that could -- TEN YEARS OF DADA! So many precious little homes in Provo, now in Salt Lake City, for a few moments in Athens, GA and Puembo, Ecuador.
I started this in 2013 making records with Bat Manors (which evolved into Choir Boy), Batty Blue, and The Salt, The Sea, and The Sun God. Since then, I've made records alongside so many incredible people, wonderful musicians:
Little Moon, Emily Brown, Sen Wisher, PK Opal, Paul Travis, NAPS, Quiet House, Rebel Rebel, Corner Case, Sculpture Club, James The Mormon, Book on Tape Worm, A. J. LeGrand, Violet Waves, Foster Body, Pet Library, Taylor Olson, Pigimichi, Savage Daughters, Will Johnson, Grizzly Goat, Josaleigh Pollett, Nicole Canaan, little Barefoot, Agatha Frisky, The Poppees , Baby Pink, Shelly Rose, Violettas, Molly in the Mineshaft, American Coast, The Anatomy of Frank, Nathan Paul Hardyman, Molder and Skully, Alyssa Pyper, Dream Eater, The Mighty Mangalore, Prince Duck, Flowers on Loan, Callan Rabbit, Joey Nebulous, Chalk, Katie Van Sleen, Company Vacation, Scott Lippitt, Pipes, Porch Lights...
..and probably a billion others who I'll remember right after I click POST. It's been such an immense joy to create with you all. Thank you for inviting me to create with you. It's all been so precious to me.
Studio Studio Dada will always be for me a place for play, exploration, communion, co-creation! A big, dear part of my heart.
I'm joining forces now with my dear friend Colin Foy, who is a wonderful producer, engineer, and musician. He's kind and loving and a joy to work with.
We're calling our new practice The Toaster Oven, and we'll be working out of Colin's home in Provo and Dada up here in SLC. We're here to support musicians making records. Creating a record you love is an easy, pleasurable experience, and you'll have our guidance, creative energy, and encouragement through that process.
Go fill out the intake form at https://linktr.ee/thetoasteroven.mp3 to start off the process of making your record at The Toaster Oven. You can also find a Spotify playlist with some of our work and other information there.
We're so excited to create with you all. Thank you for all the love.
