Ms. Marshall brought a handful of students in today to present us with a book of thank you’s for the Pops with Cops event. Apparently these children are some of the most well-behaved and were rewarded with a special trip to visit us. Side note- I
Went to the Stones concert last night and learned that Ms Marshall was also there. Amazingly, she was full of energy and can handle six children. Me? Not so much.

On March 29,1987 a resident woke up to find a burglar in their home. The burglar was taken into custody that early morning and was found to have jewelry in his possession

Today while closing old files out, our secretary noticed jewelry in the case folder for this incident (as was typical of evidence storage at that time)

Sergeant O’Neill checked public records and found out the victims of the burglary still lived at the same address in Prospect Park

We’re happy to report that Sergeant O’Neill stopped at the house this afternoon and returned the jewelry to the very happy family (almost 33 years later)
