The man behind the barber’s chair

Yesterday at approximately 4:02 p.m., a Princeton Public School bus turned into the driveway of 33 River Rd., Princeton Church of Christ, to make a U-turn. While doing so the driver, a 54-year-old female of North Brunswick, attempted to pass through an overhang that is attached to the building. The top of the bus struck the overhang causing damage to the bus and structural damage to the building. The bus is described as a 20 passenger bus that had seven juveniles and two adult passengers on it at the time of the crash. All seven juveniles are Princeton residents and were transported to the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro for precautionary reasons. There were no serious injuries reported. The Princeton Technical Rescue Unit, Princeton Fire Department and the Plainsboro Fire Department responded to the scene due to the structural damage to the building. The crash remains under investigation. There is no additional information available at this time.
