Start buying your tickets!
If you are new to Betsy Bingo here is a little info. Saturday of the Festival there will be a cow in a cattle gate. There will be 225 1ft squares marked on the ground and numbered 1-225. The first square the cow p**ps on wins $1,000. Last year we had a lot of questions:
What if the cow doesn't p**p? *We will draw a ticket number*
What if the cow p**ps on more than one square *We will inspect to see which square has the most on it.
Do you have to be there to win? *No
What type of signs go up? *Standard yard signs, you may provide your own (with the same dimensions) or we will have them made for you if you buy your tickets in time. If you have a sign from last year we can use it again!
This year we have a couple different things!
**$140 gets you 10 Tickets**NEW
**Two bingos**. We have to sell out of the first board before we will start to sell the second round of tickets.
** Extra drawings waiting for the cow to do its business**

July 1, 1904 Clarion-News: Princeton needs a bath house and in all probability one will be established. Charles Woods is the man who proposes to deliver the goods.

The location will be in the upper rear rooms of the Woods building at Broadway and Main Streets. With a little remodeling the rooms would be in excellent trim for the business.

Fifteen cents per bath will be charged, with good filtered water, at that. The usual price to take a dip in one of the big tubs at the barber shops is 25 cents. That’s the limit without an extra solution of Patoka liquid. Baths have heretofore been so dreadfully steep that only a few of the local newspaper men who earn princely salaries could afford a bath more than once a year.

"Nancy and I chose to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with a tour of Italy. We spent a year working with Zicasso travel, piecing together an itinerary that involved natural habitats rather than the culture of the cities.

"June is early for tourist season, but proved perfect for spring wildflowers. We spent three days in five locations, all in northern Italy. Rather than renting a car, we had drivers to take us from one location to another"

What better motivation for a nursing career than to see your grandfather fighting for life after a heart attack, and your dad undergoing two weeks of hospital career after cutting off parts of his left thumb and left forefinger in a work mishap? And to be inspired by the nursing care that each received in his battle.

That’s why the now Haley Schmitt, daughter of former Gibson Southern, Indiana State and Cleveland Indians minor league pitcher Casey Whitten; and granddaughter of Princeton boys basketball booster club co-founder Dave Brown, entered nursing school after her 2011 Gibson Southern graduation.
