I should be in Alabama this weekend. To my fellow class in attendance my heart is with you.
I am doing Ag Queen stuff and getting ready for fair!
I chose to be where I knew I'd be celebrated, not tolerated.
No matter where you chose to be today, this weekend, I'm so proud of our journey together this year.
This year I helped my mom create a program that truly understands what Agvocacy means, and is celebrated.
This month my one year reign as a National Title Holder would've come to an end. I would've passed the torch. My journey in agriculture didn't end because of a program or person, but my family chose to cease advertising for them when promises and awards were left unfulfilled, and emails ignored.
Remember, some of these 'winners' are children, who were promised the moon for their love and passion for agriculture.
My sponsors deserved so much more. I deserved so much more, and ultimately my parents put me first.
So to my sponsors: this year I attended Camp Livestock, took the recertification for YQCA, attended Shine the Light on NF and Noah's Bandage 5k.
I have also worked along side my parents to create a program that celebrates its contestants, and focuses on agriculture advocacy. It was amazing to be able to be a part of that and crown the first class of National Queens.
I couldn't of reached that goal without my sponsors, friends, family, and sister queens. You all were truly incredible.
To my fellow Queen's, 'Go where you are celebrated, not just tolerated" is a phrase that means to find people who value your work and contributions, and who can support your goals and dreams.'-Kevin Gates
If they can't see the real value of you, it's time for a new start. - Tiny Buddha

My siblings and I have put together birthday/holiday cake in a box to raise some $$ to be able finish getting what we need to finish the 12 CASA Cuddle Kits! We need 6 more stuffed animals. We also opted to help another family for Christmas. While we'd love to head to a store to pick out gifts we also put some ideas on the same wishlist.
Each cake set up includes: the pan, mix, frosting, a can of sprite, and candles. The average cost per set up is $8.
So whether you shop the wishlist for a cake kit, or hand a kid cash for them to shop, please keep your contribution above cost otherwise they really did it for nothing.
If you'd like your chosen child can bake it and frost it for you.
We're also happy to put more together for blessing boxes or hope house for those that would like to donate supplies.

We are 6 stuffies from completely filling 12 Cuddle Kits!
We have also added a few items to help a local family for Christmas!
https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2SZFRVONHK1L?ref_=wl_share
We are halfway there!!! We still need 12 stuffies and 12 pillowcases! We have updated the list to offer an alternative stuffy choice!
We will deliver these to the Ottawa office. We created a wishlist to cover 12 cuddle Kits. However, we will be in town this week shopping so there are individual options as well if you'd like to venmo me instead and make a purchase or collective purchase. I believe most of these items have a quick turnaround and would ship to me. Keep in mind they have to be turned in on 12/20/23.

Veterans Day not only honors those who have served and sacrificed in defense of our nation, but also recognizes the enduring spirit of duty, honor, and selflessness that characterizes our veterans.- VFW.org
Yesterday, my school had a special ceremony to honor our Veterans. My Papa who served for 20 years and my Uncle Orin who is currently serving for the last 15 years have both been able to be apart of this special day.
Veterans Day is not only important to my family, but extremely important to my community. Annually, Ottawa hosts Vettes for the Vets, a parade, and sets up reenactments and battles from the Civil War through Vietnam.
While some of you may have finished your state fun fashion today, I took a moment to squeeze into the dress that I wore as part of my fun fashion during regionals last year in between rehearsals. While I am not there this weekend to take my final walk, I am working hard and rehearsing for my first of hopefully many more Nutcracker performances.
Remember your why, go where you are celebrated.
“If you don't feel it, flee from it. Go where you are celebrated, not merely tolerated.” ― Paul F. Davis
This weekend ends Elisa Fields, 2023 National Hostess Miss United States Agriculture reign as your 2023 Midwest Spokesmodel!
Due to other obligations she will not be returning for her farewell walk; but is so thankful for all of her sponsors who made the trip to Nationals possible.
Elisa has conquered a lot in her year and has served not only her community, but state and region well. From collecting bandages for Noah's Bandage Project and walking in their 5k; collecting 1000s of pop tabs for Ronald McDonald House Charities, to advocating for the bees and providing $2000 of bee education and conservation resources to local schools!
We can't thank our sponsors, friends, mentors and family enough for making things happen.
They need still need a Princess to close their first month in action, and have 1 in every age division!

Elisa Fields, 2023 National Hostess Miss United States Agriculture couldn't skip recognizing National Cow Day without a throwback video! While Ginger Snap isn't officially a "cow" yet we believe her future holds that in-store! To be considered an actual cow the heifer has to be mature and given birth to at least one calf. Ginger Snap is a Brahman Crossbreed heifer calf. #nationalhostess #missunitedstatesagriculture #midwestspokesmodel #midwestmissusag #kansasmissusag #teachinspireadvocate #ksmissusag #agHERculture #missusag #farmher
Elisa Fields - 2023 Midwest Spokesmodel Miss United States Agriculture has a lot left to do to be fair and Nationals ready! She recently burned her nose with a punk, she wants to remind everyone to be safe over the 4th of July! #midwestspokesmodel #midwestmissusag #kansasmissusag #teachinspireadvocate #ksmissusag #agHERculture #missunitedstatesagriculture #missusag #farmher
Elisa Fields - 2023 Midwest Spokesmodel Miss United States Agriculture spends a fair amount of time with her animals. In the weeks leading up to fair you'll see 4-Hers spend upto 24-48 hours a week working with their animals. There's a lot of behind the scenes work, from: getting them use to people, noises, and stimuli; the 4-Her bathing, grooming, brushing them regularly; halter breaking and leading (there's a lot of push and pull and personality conflicts involved here, sometimes the 4-Her gets dragged by their animal); feeding, watering, weening...she also spends time bonding, lots of cuddles, scratches and treats. Ginger Snaps Favorites: Treat: Oatmeal Cookies Activity: Napping Skill: Play Opposum Breed: Dairy Cross (mostly likely a Brahma cross) Beverage: milk replacer (we graduated from a bottle to the bucket over the weekend) (Elisa is doing all the work, mom is just holding the end because she has anxiety about chasing a calf for two miles 🥴) #midwestspokesmodel #midwestmissusag #teachinspireadvocate #ksmissusag #agHERculture #missunitedstatesagriculture #MissUSAG
