Big unavailing of the Prescott 19 Hot Shot Memorial at the Courthouse today at 345.

We will always remember our Granite Mountain Hotshots.

Today marks 11 years since our town of Prescott was forever changed when the lives of 19 heroic men were lost. They were fathers, husbands, sons, they were what every man looked up to. Their bravery and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

GREAT NEWS FOR OFF-ROADERS: THE SUPREME COURT PUTS THE BRAKES ON THE EXPANDING “ADMINISTRATIVE STATE”

In a landmark ruling today, the U.S. Supreme Court significantly reduced the regulatory power of unelected government officials. In the cases of Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo and Relentless, Inc. v. Department of Commerce, the Court held that the judicial branch no longer must “defer” to the judgment of federal government agencies in deciding whether the agencies have gone too far in issuing and enforcing federal regulations. This could have huge implications for the off-road industry, since the Environmental Protection Agency and similar agencies will now be forced to better justify their efforts to close public lands. Kudos to the Justices of the Supreme Court for working to reign-in out-of-control federal government regulation.

Let’s keep the momentum going. Please consider donating to your favorite off-road advocacy organization (American Sand Association). https://americansandassociation.org/

PCI MORE RACING 300 in Johnson Valley. Helping the Callan Oil Team pit and first time racer Rick Ellis. A roll over on the 4th lap in the afternoon race but still managed to finish 10th. Not bad for the first time in a car!

Battle at Primm race report: Class. 9 Brian Wibel 2nd for the weekend, Lester 5th having some ignition issues and Tommy Esquerra with some issues caused him a DNF on the first day but a respectable finish on Sunday in only the second time racing the new car. Kyle Zirkus in his new and first time driving the Desert Dreams MS 1600 car was 9th for the weekend out of a huge field of over 28 entries. Kyle Zirkus’s wife raced the Class 11 in the Powder Puff race but a roll over prevented her from a good result. In Class 10 Carl Rohrer had engine issues and resulted in an unfortunate DNF. Congratulations to the finishers and a get-em next time for those who didn’t!
