You can support stormwater management projects in your city or town that both benefit the environment and bring value to your community. Whether you're enjoying a park or a trail, do your part! Put litter in trash cans, and never dump liquids down storm drains. We can all be stormwater smart! 😊👍 , ,

Time to wiggle your fingers and toes, for a warm wind blows. Well, there actually won't be much wind, it just rhymed, so it was used. The cold of the last few days will be ushered away, warmer weather is here to stay, for a few days at least. Enjoy it if you can and maybe get a late fall tan, while planning for next week's feast.

11/15/2024

Good afternoon, hope everybody is enjoying the wind out there! Today's wind is out ahead of a low pressure system that will move southward through western AZ tonight/Saturday and then into New Mexico by Sunday. Some snow showers will be possible at times, tonight/Saturday in NW Arizona and Sunday around the White Mountains. Snow accumulations should mostly be light, though the higher parts of the Kaibab Plateau could see 2-4".

Our Hydrologist, Stacey Yeager, was on hand to give a presentation to the kids about stormwater at the Cottonwood Library last week. The kids had such a good time, they didn't even realize they were actually learning something! 😉👍
