I’ve always remembered the teachers that have impacted me and in an effort to retain our brightest and greatest in , Adopt-a-Classroom was created last year. 📚
I started with Kuser Elementary School in New Jersey with Ms. Pyne, a first year, first grade teacher. She’s my nephew’s girlfriend🥰
The school enrolls 66% economically disadvantaged students. This touches my soul to the core as I was one of those students.
Thank you to Cheston Cougarand Palmer Elementary School PTA. Y’all were instrumental in my early years. I was an ESL student. I was lost, confused, scared, anxious, but RESILIENT and RESOLVED that I would make it. Teachers like Ms. McClaren, Ms. Hebdon, Ms. McIntyre, and Mr. LaDuca BELIEVED in me! We all know the impact teachers have and more than ever, we must SUPPORT them!! 🖇️
I am grateful to have had the opportunity to provide snacks, supplies and guidance for these students and help Ms. Pyne get through a challenging year.
We all came out more resilient and steadfast in our commitment to make each other better everyday. I learned more from the students and teacher than I could ever imagine!! 🦾
This year we are expanding the efforts to . If you’re a teacher or know a teacher that could use supplies for the classroom or a , someone to lean on, please reach out to me!!
What started as a simple act of kindness has blossomed into a non profit that I’m working on.
