Tom Prather is an accomplished film & television director, editor, photographer, creative, director, entrepreneur, and podcast host. For the past twenty-five years, Prather has gained a reputation for having a unique eye and the ability to tell an impactful story using a vast array of mediums.

After receiving a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland, Prather followed his entrepreneurial spirit and started The Blue Wave Video Production Agency. He has long served as a charter board member and on the branding committee of non-profit, Dreams For Kids DC, which provides life-changing activities that empower children with physical and developmental disabilities.

The top 5 things I learned photographing cars:

1) Try using natural light first.
2) Stay out of the reflections of mirrors and windows.
3) Use a sunroof for overhead camera angle.
4) Try not to lean on the horn.
5) Turn Van Halen on the radio to ensure an energetic shoot!
