About the storytellers:
Cheryl Hamilton is a Boston resident, award-winning storytelling producer, and director of Stellar Story Company, which helps people deliver extraordinary stories for meaningful change. She will tell a story about how an impromptu meeting with her mother took on a deeper meaning.

Jane Martin, who works as a writer in technology and teaches writing at the University of Southern Maine, will tell the tale of how her own challenges with learning gave her a new perspective on her students and herself.

Patrick Hayes has a list of life adventures under his belt, having crisscrossed the country dozens of times donning many hats - circus barker, software trainer, local news reporter, restaurateur, radio DJ, and alcoholic—and now in his fifth year of sobriety. Patrick will tell the story of how a lost summer camp dream ended up shielding him from a sinister situation.

Laura Spittle is a small business owner who resides on a horse farm in Reading, VT. She has a long ago history in broadcasting and theatre, yet this will be her first shot at storytelling—and its a doozy. Laura will share an unbelievable series of bad events and how what it taught her about the people in her community.

Laura Brown is a Portsmouth resident and serial entrepreneur who will talk about her estrangement from her brother and what happened one day when he called her out of the blue.

Benjamin Doyle is a NH Seacoast native and University of NH student who recently published his first collection of poetry, “Overture.” His story is about how a used car revealed a new and better path for his future.

A big thank you to our storytellers at last night’s Cold Turkey show.
The night featured a well rounded mix of stories about overcoming challenges big and small. Plus some graphic recording from Chad Moore to make this an extraordinary event.
And as always a big shout out to for being a great support partner and making sure everything behind the scenes went flawlessly. Can’t wait to do this again in December.

TONIGHT! Five stories about big change and what comes next. Tix link in bio.

About the show:
Growth comes when we let go of the things that no longer serve us. But, the process of letting go can get complicated. This show explores how we decide to make a big, sudden change, whether it’s giving up a vice, cutting off a relationship, or moving to a new location. Expect to hear stories about saying goodbye to the past and figuring out how to work toward a new future of our own design.

Meet the storytellers:

Molly Meng
Austin Sorette
Paul Marino
Angela Bell
Rob Ciampa

With special guest Chad Moore

Special thanks to and for their partnership and support.
