I am so. friggin. PSYCHED about this new album! It was recorded live on the floor and mixed at Acadia Recording Company by Jason Phelps, mastered by Pat Keane. I sing and play piano, Wurly, B3, and tenor banjo. Craig Bryan plays drums, Shawn Nadeau plays bass, and Leah Boyd sings backing vocals on two songs. I painted the cover art, too.

We made it to the The New England Shake-Up this past weekend for Sean Mencher's Rockin' Afternoon! Here's a clip of Sean Mencher playing with Bobby Trimble (of Big Sandy and his Fly-Rite Boys), Chris Casello (The Chris Casello Trio), Graham Tichy, and Jesse Woeful during his seminar on the 1976 RCA Victor record, Chester and Lester. We're looking forward to another session using the old Event Record's gear with Michael Hurtt's Haunted Hearts this week!
Caleb Mars Hickman is back at Acadia! Caleb rented the studio for the entire week (including a full day of tracking during the blizzard) and we've been working hard on his new album "The Magic Eye"

In this weekend we have The Hadacol Bouncers. A New Orleans traditional Jazz Band fronted by Tom Whitehead and Peter Dunphy. We are tracking both to the Analog room straight 1/4" mono (no overdubs) and to our digital front end as well. Best of both worlds! Looking forward to tracking tomorrow as well.
