As an Office Assistant, you would act as a supportive member of the operations team, helping to full-fill orders, support customers with top notch customer support, and assist with the assembly and preparation of their fabric and products. This position would initially entail a part time work schedule of roughly 20 to 25 hours a week with a clear path to full-time and permanent employment as your knowledge and understanding of their business operations develops.

Qualification and experience:

--Excellent customer service skills – prior experience supporting customers and clients in an office, retail, or food service environment will be accepted

Pay and compensation can be an emotional topic that can have real impact on an individual's lifestyle, financial retirement goals, and mental health. A few tips to consider when asked what your salary expectations are.

Tips:
1. Come to the table with a collaborative mindset - this will make the entire process more positive.

2. Employers typically ask about salary expectations because they want to know if you are in their range. It's okay to deflect when you have a collaborative mindset. Instead of locking in a specific pay range, you can articulate that you've done research on the average pay range for the position in question and ask if their range is aligned with this research.

3. On a job application, it's hard to make a value based proposition. If possible, skip the question or put 0 if the field is mandatory.
